We had a great stay at Franciscan Lakeside Lodge! The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly, and the private beach with beautiful Lake Tahoe views was a huge plus. We also loved that Kings Beach was just a short walk away, making it easy to enjoy the restaurants, shops, and lake activities. A wonderful place for a relaxing family getaway—we would definitely stay here again!

My stay was excellent. It was better than I expected. The cottage was perfect size, right by the water. It had a full bed and sofa bed. The kitchen was fully stocked with kitchen utensils, cups, plates and pots. It had an electric fireplace that kept the room at the perfect temperature. I would book here again every time.

This place was perfect. Exactly what we needed for our 3 night stay. We were lakeside and it was just beautiful. We used the open once and the microwave often. We will definitely book again when we come back to Lake Tahoe! (We are from across the country!)

The private pier at Franciscan was so relaxing. I took the portable umbrella in my cabin closet and set it up at the end of the pier and had a great afternoon picnic watching the paddleboarders and kayakers go by. Restaurants and other amenities so close by.

Based on a couple of reviews that were less than optimal, we were not sure what to expect. However we were delighted with the property! The check in was efficient and staff very friendly. We had reserved a studio, which was clean, delightfully decorated with all amenities needed! The bathroom door wouldn’t close properly but that was the only detraction. The location was really great…only a few steps to the lake! The property is close to a grocery store and several nice restaurants. An added benefit is that is away from the crowds of King’s Beach! We will certainly rent at this property on our next visit.

The kitchen was even better than what I expected. Fully stocked with silverware, knives, a coffee pot, toaster, oven, stovetop, microwave, fridge/freezer, etc. Even a separate hot plate and a dishwasher! Everything was spotlessly clean and ready to use.

Lovely location with beachfront access. Each room is different. Ours was well appointed throughout, with pleasant mountain themed furnishings. Office closed quite early and opened late ,apparently due to " off season ". Didn't receive that information, so check in was somewhat confusing .
