The location is fantastic. There is just the right amount of really nice and fun establishments to eat and hang out at during the stay. We loved the house and the anonymities. Plenty of room for yard games and relaxing in the lake. The host responded in a timely manner and is super accommodating. We had 12 women stay there with no complaints.

Great Family Get Together

Property was great! We ranged in age from 3-72 and a good time was had by all. Layout and decor are super cute. Nice amenities! Kitchen is so well stocked and laid out nicely, not to forget the extra facilities in the downstairs area. Host very accommodating and prompt with all my queries.

Fun Week at the lake

My family of 6 adults and 4 kids had a great time at the big Red House* on Big Cormorant Lake. The waterfront has great views with a slope down to the water (keep an eye on your little ones), and the flat back lot is big enough for 5 vehicles, a boat, and room for fun yard games. The cabin had everything we needed to feel like a home away from home. The host was prompt in responding to our communication about dock panels that had popped out and floated away due to a storm, and arrived to fix the dock within hours! This was very appreciated, because that dock worked great for our pontoon w/ sea legs, and jumping in the refreshing water! *Grandkids named the house :)

Perfect family getaway

My wife, twin12-yr olds, my brother and my dad made the trip from L.A. out to MN to visit with family. The house was perfect size and layout for the 6 of us. With the large yard and multiple places to gather we were able to have a nice dinner one night with our aunt and cousins and other family who are local to Lake Park/DL. Overall the house had everything we needed, check-in was a breeze and the hosts were very responsive when we had questions. 5/5 stars :)

Big fun at Big Cormorant

My family had a fabulous time gathering at this property over the 4th of July weekend! The waterfront had a terrific view of many fireworks displays and the boat parade. The host was very friendly and timely in responding to our communications and any needs we had. Thanks for a lovely visit!

Cabin getaway

This cabin on Big Cormorant had so much to offer for our group of adults and kids! Despite some cooler weather we were never bored. The lake views were beautiful from the deck and yard for sunrises and sunsets. The dock was great for coming in and out of the boat and would be perfect for swimming with the water shoes at the house if we would have had a touch warmer weather. We plan to return to this oasis on beautiful Big Cormorant lake!

Perfect August Weekend

We planned on spending our time at the annual Rollag event but found we so enjoyed the property we ended up renting a boat for tubing and hanging out all weekend at this beautiful property. We loved the 70s theme decor! This property is perfect for various ages with seperate areas for quiet naps for little ones, quiet areas for reading a book to a second kitchen on the lower level leading out to the back patio where us adults could visit without waking up the kids. The game room and yard games were a big hit. Fooseball was the favorite. All beds were very comfortable with wonderful pillows. The dock and beach were wonderful to pull our boat up to the property. The upper deck was amazing! So much room for us all to visit and enjoy the spectacular view! Best surprise moment was hot air ballons drifting accross the lake and over the house our first morning while having coffee on the upper deck. The sound of loons and the peaceful firepit were also wonderful! We will definitely be back! Thank you Jenny and Dave for being such great hosts. The neighbors were also very friendly and waved at us as they past by on the lake!
