This was our first trip to the OBX and the condo did not disappoint. Everything was clean and you could see it was recently updated. Beautiful ocean view from the balcony. Directly on the beach with fantastic restaurants a very short walk away. I hope to stay here again when we return to the OBX

End of School Get Away

If you are looking for the perfect spot to get away from the hustle and bustle this is the place for you! We were extremely happy with the location and the amenities for our family of 6! The property was the perfect size. Not too big, not too small. The location couldnt have been better! Right on the ocean with an awesome breeze!

Great view- right on the beach!

We got what we paid for… a great beachfront view and location at a bargain. A little more effort and this place could be a gem! It needs a good deep cleaning and fresh bedding. We didn’t see a whole lot of the ‘2024 renovations’ - kitchen had been updated but the rest of the place seemed largely untouched.

Great Place

The condo was perfect for us. I had forgot my shampoo and conditioner, but the had some small bottles I was able to use. Had issues with the electronic lock the whole stay, with one night not even being able to get in, but the owner was VERY prompt in replying to my message for help and we were able to get in. I would definitely stay again. The only complain was the pot holders were pretty nasty.

Incredible!!!

This was our first visit to OBX (what took us so long?). The balcony and the incredible ocean view made the stay and the trip absolutely memorable. Waves rolling in with a beautiful crashing, people strolling by with and without dogs playing in the surf, surfers, sunsrise gazers… The condo was great for our needs, and would def stay here again!

Amazing Location and Pet Friendly

You don't even need to get sandy in this rental unit. I sat on the porch and watched the ocean all day long. Please ignore the negative reviews. The bed was perfectly comfortable and the couches have been replaced (with leather couches, which are appreciated when you have a dog in the house). Everything you needed was provided in the kitchen (though some of the pans were a little worse for the wear). The owners thoughtfully provided dish soap, dishwasher soap, paper towels, a few trash bags, as well as salt and pepper, and some oils in the cupboard. The only two negatives to this unit are that it is eight sets of eight steps to get to the unit. There is a luggage lift, which helps enormously, but walking the dog was a little more work than I was used to. The other thing was that the pool was very small. Perfect if you have kids but not really ideal if you are an adult who wants to swim. On the whole, I would absolutely recommend this unit to anyone who can manage the stairs, and who wants to bring their beloved animal with them to the beach.

Good (enough)

Good- The location and beachfront views are perfecto. Best place for coffee is the balcony! It is just as pictured. It was nice to have beach chairs and umbrella and boogie board in the storage area! James is responsive. We got in earlier than 4:) The not great- the living room furniture is in bad condition. That couch needs to be thrown off above mentioned perfect balcony. Ooof. The chair is only slightly better. The main bed (full? Not queen) is not great at all and needs new pillows badly. Things I’d like to have known- the kitchen had salt and pepper, coffee filters and sugar packets. This place is really geared towards ONLY FOUR people staying there despite the extra beds (we are a fam of five, 3 kids under 13y). There are only four chairs at table (the other two have to sit at the counter). Four chairs on balcony. I don’t know where six people would sit to watch tv bc there’s a small (terrible) couch and the one chair. Kitchen doesn’t have a full set of measuring cups or spoons. The kitchen dishes and cups are tired, lol. Updating those would be nice. There is literally NOWHERE to put food. It’s all on the counter. All the cabinets have stuff in them. There’s no elevator if u have mobility issues- u go up and down four flights of stairs, just fyi. It was NOT a horrible experience. It’s just This place costs a good deal more than most other two bedroom places in the area and the place needs a little attention, a little updating to make it a 5 star place.
