Excellent location with amazing view. Beautiful,well equipped condo had everything we needed and more! This was our fifth time on Maui and think this may be our favorite. We only wish it had A/C in the bedroom. The bathroom was fine for the two of us with a nice sized shower, but may feel a little small for more than that. We used the beach chairs and umbrella every day and really appreciated that they were in great shape. Having a washer and dryer is so helpful and also very much appreciated. We also enjoyed the Lanai a lot and loved watching the beautiful Maui sunsets every night!

good view, nice property. Two complaints: (i) there were a lot of ants in the kitchen upon arrival, (ii), the bed sheets are 100% polyester, which (a) is uncomfortable, and (b) are heavy and hot; (iii) there is a massive a/c unit in the living room, but for some reason nothing in the bedroom but a weak fan that makes a large clanging noise any time you turn it on to strength. In August, this makes for a pretty hot night of sleeping.

Love this location

Overall our stay was excellent. Property was clean and the property manager was very good at communicating with us. My only complaints are that the ac needs to be replaced (leaks onto lanai) and the lack of storage for leftovers. We bought and left 5 Tupperware containers so the next guests don’t have the same problem.

Cozy, peaceful, and convenient!

We had such an amazing stay here at Kamaole Beach Royale 409 for our first trip to Maui! The location is unbeatable, along with the sunrise and sunset views! Walkable to coffee shops, grocery stores, restaurants, the beach and more. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Maui!

Love KBR but...

We have been staying at KBR for many years. We have always loved the location and the units. Our complaint is this. KBR has become much less kid friendly than in years past. Being constantly pestered that our Grandkids were being too loud either in the pool (during daylight hours) or on the 7th floor trying to enjoy dinner together at sunset (by the older guests or owners). Either advertise as adult only or... let the kids have some fun so parents can enjoy a nice vacation without feeling the stress if our kids/grandkids make a peep. Location and units are fantastic... some owners and property maintenance guy (xxx) need to chill out a bit.

Perfect little condo

Really one of the cleanest condos we have stayed in. Been coming to Maui for 5 consecutive years now. I appreciate the hardwood flooring because carpet grosses me out. Place comes with umbrella, chairs, cooler. Wish the cooler was smaller for short trips to the beach, but really, if that's all I'm complaining about then that's ok. Less than 5 min walk to south end of kam 1 beach. Good view of the ocean and can even see whales spouting in the distance.

Great condo in Kihei

This condo had everything we needed — easy parking, central location, walkable to the beach, ocean views, full kitchen, and A/C. I have stayed in Kihei before so I knew what to expect. Another great feature were the shops next door for renting snorkel gear or buying groceries.

Great accommodations!

Very nice accommodations. Great location , just a walk across the street to one of the nicest beaches in Maui .Plenty of beach necessities, including chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and so on. There’s also a little market and shopping center within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location and wonderful view!

The condo has a lovely view, is well equipped and the location is situated for easy access to beaches, restaurants and sightseeing. The property manager is great, responsive and helpful. Try the food trucks, they’re excellent!

Great Location

2nd time in this building, first in this unit. We like this location for the restaurants next door, and the close access to beach plus the food truck park/shopping area just a mile north. Saw a turtle and fish swimming with just googles this visit at the beach across the street. Only complaints/reqquest would be to bump up your soap provided (2 very small-silver dollar sized soaps in bathroom for sink and shower), and an inexpensive boogie board would be handy. Thought the bed was comfortable. Appliances all worked etc. and plenty of storage space for clothes when unpacking.

Gorgeous View and So Close to Beach!

This location is PERFECT! First day we saw whales breaching from the lanai. The only minor issue we had was getting the bedroom cool enough. There is ac, but it’s in the main room. Most nights we would open all the windows to cool off the apartment; but if it wasn’t very windy, that back room was a little warm. They had a couple of fans that really helped, though. Otherwise, amazing stay! We’ll definitely come back! We greatly appreciated the beach chairs , too!

Incredible location and views

We very much enjoyed our stay in this condo. It was very well stocked with supplies and the location and views were perfect!! Whales putting on a show right out front everyday! Pretty much everything we could want or need was within blocks. Major bonuses were the rooftop deck with quality bbqs and the Aloha room on the main floors. When you were at the beach or pool, the Aloha room was so convenient for our use. Rooftop was so much fun to meet others staying in the building with big tables for groups of people to eat/ drink and enjoy the sunset views . We will definitely be back!!!!

Great location and great views!

The condo had everything we needed! Loved the location and the views. The bed was a bit uncomfortable to us. We prefer a softer bed. We also had a little trouble with the bedroom tv - but probably user error! Other than that, everything was great and I would definitely recommend it!

Roaches wouldn't go away

The management company tried to help and were very accessible, but there is a serious cockroach problem in this condo. I didn't use the kitchen for that reason, but the bugs were other places as well. I have been coming to Kihei for twelve years and have never had an issue like this with bugs before. While the location was great, I didn't have a good time here because of the bugs running around me all the time I was here.

Great location and unit. The building is easily accessible to the beach. Minimum two minute walk. the space was very comfortable and quiet. The only issue was the bugs in the kitchen, we understand that this isn’t the property owners fault. It was easy to check in and the communication with instructions was very detailed. They checked in to see if we needed anything during our day.
