My paradise

This was the perfect vacation spot for me in Maui. I loved that it was a one-bedroom unit with a full kitchen and even a washer and dryer—it made things super convenient and comfortable. The bed, linens, and pillows were extra comfortable which really matters to me since I’m pretty picky about sleep comfort.One of the best parts was the view from the lanai. It looked out over the ocean, with waves crashing, palm trees swaying, the pool below, and at night, the soft glow of tiki torches. It was such a peaceful and beautiful place to watch the sunset while enjoying dinner from the lanai.This was hands down my favorite place I’ve stayed, and I’m already planning to come back for my birthday next year. Five plumerias from me!

The perfect Kahana Maui location

We’ve been vacationing in Kahana for more than 20 years. This 1-bedroom in Royal Kahana spectacular. Great views, amenities, location. Everything about our stay was perfect. Mahalo.

Fantastic stay!

The best part about this room is that it is very close to the ocean. Sleeping at night listening to the waves might be the greatest thing ever. This morning I ate a papaya while sitting on the balcony watching the sunrise, whales spouting, and a rainbow. MAGICAL

Royal Kahana Bliss

Easy check in and smooth sailing. Love the building, it has a great pool and BBQ area and a small functional gym in the basement. Walkable Maui Brewing Co and Dolly's Bar can't be beat. Also a great nail salon next to Dolly's and a 3 minute walk from Condo. Small beaches near by and Fleming Beach is a 10 minute drive. This is a great spot and a great condo.

Great location, unbelievable view!

We were looking for a week-long getaway for our family. The rental agency was fantastic and provided all the information we needed for a successful stay. The apartment was perfect for our needs. Being our first time in Maui, we were able to practice snorkeling off the beach at the resort and relax on the generous lanai in the evenings. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall a great location! Saw turtles and whales from the balcony which made the location special. The property is a little tired and could use some overall upgrades. The pocket door in the master bath needs fixing - noisy and off the rollers, sliding doors onto the lanai need replacing - let air in and out. The vacuum needs replacing - filthy would not use it. Residual dust and dirt behind the beside tables was a build up over time - would have cleaned it but the vacuum wasn't operable. Close to nearby stores and restaurants was handy! The place is primarily all rentals but met some very nice people who've been there many times. Great place for daily beach adventures and road trips to see the island. Parking at night near the condo is a crap shoot at best - very crowded parking lot. Overall good trip - once the upgrades and little more attention to detail is required for cleaning the condo.

Whales whales whales

Lots of whale sightings from the balcony also had 2 turtles that visited several times. Very comfortable condo, a/c works great as the afternoon sun really warms the place a/c was a nice option. Kitchen is great for those stay in and watch the whale days. Would love to stay there again.

Loved our stay

Best lanai ever! Looks right over the ocean. We spent hours upon hours out there. Nicely updated flooring and appliances. The window in the master bedroom needs cleaned. It’s very cloudy due to the salt in the air that constantly hits it. Definitely not a dealbreaker though as the lanai is right around the corner. Keypad entry/ checkin/ checkout is wonderful!

Ocean view couldn’t get any better

This was a great vacation and we will definitely rent again. Location is close to everything…short 10 min drive to downtown Lahaina. Check in was easy and hosts were easy to communicate with. Home was well-stocked. View was amazing!!!

Our stay for 5 nights was the best & we definitely plan to return!

This was a lovely, very clean ocean side condo with a beautiful 4th floor view from a wrap around deck, located a convenient distance from the Ka'anapali Beach resorts and Lahaina on Maui. It was a very spacious 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bathroom unit with comfortable king size beds, big windows & air conditioning throughout, tastefully decorated, enjoyable living room & dining space and an updated kitchen complete with necessary equipment, implements, dishes, appliances and basic supplies. The building also had an ocean side pool with ample lounges, tables & chairs with umbrellas and nearby barbeques for fixing meals. We feel these features were accurately described in the VRBO materials, the pricing was reasonable for the quality of fixtures provided and we found the processes of making our reservation, checking in/out, parking, etc. very easy to follow. We sincerely believe others seeking a condo in this area with features like this one has will not be disappointed.

We had a great time in this beautiful condominium. The views are exceptional, and we saw lots of whale activity right off the balcony. Kitchen was good, and we made most of our meals while there. Nice area to walk each morning. We loved our stay.

Loved our stay

This unit with the spacious living area and the wrap around Lanai was wonderful. Two king beds and ensuite bathrooms, plus a half bath was great. Lanai flooring may need an upgrade and some new cooking pans would be nice. HIGHLY recommend this property and hope to be back again soon.

Views from Lanai Were Amazing

We really enjoyed our time here. The condo was well-equipped and comfortable for 2 couples. The view is amazing. We could see whales, turtles and a submarine from the lanai. Erosion has destroyed the beach in front, but you could access a small beach by walking along the sandbags a little ways. Biggest negative was that the a.c. was broken the whole time we were there, so we were uncomfortable a few nights (and the few afternoon we weren’t out exploring), and we all felt that it was a lot to pay for no air conditioning.

Views from the deck are great. The main living area has been updated. The carpets in the bedrooms are stained and I found garbage (empty water bottle/hair bands) behind headboard in master. Location of property is good and communication with owner was great.
