Wallowa Lake

The property is on a quiet street with easy walking access to the lake. The trees on the west side of the property helped keep the cabin cool in the afternoon. We appreciated the array of kitchen pots and pans, and the living room was spacious. We had originally planned to eat out a couple of times, but cooking and eating in the cabin just seemed so pleasant so we didn't stray for meals.

It was wonderful....a little confusing to find, the house has been painted a dark blue/black and did not match the photos of the outside. Otherwise it was perfect.

Cabin by the River

We enjoyed our stay in this cabin. There was snow on the ground, and the snow on the deck had been shoveled out of the way. The gas fireplace was nice, and the kitchen had what we needed to prepare meals. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable during our stay, so no issues with streaming our favorite shows.

Mediocre for the money

The place was alright, but the whole house is slanted and the beds are not comfortable or flat. VRBOs customer service also sucks. I'll be sticking with Airbnb in the future.

Great cabin

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was unbelievably clean in a very quiet neighborhood. The floorplan made this cabin feel much bigger than the square footage indicates. Parking, even with a full size pick up truck and trailer was no problem. We will definitely stay at this place again if it is available on the dates we can get away.

Wonderful cabin!

My children, dogs, and I had such a wonderful time! Great quiet neighborhood so my children were able to concentrate on their studies, adorable deer that hung around the neighborhood and cabin, and adorable and friendly town! My children were so sad to leave.

Shelter in the snow

Listing needs updating

So I called before we went to verify if there were fans in the house. I was told no fans, but when I got there, there was one fan. 1st. I brought fans when I did not need too, 2nd there should have been fans in all rooms that accommodate sleeping. Next, I could not figure out how to lock front door and leave by the same entrance. Is there some trick? Next VRBO/Vacassa needs attention to the HUGE FEES they charge, In most cases they are as much as half of the over all rental. Talk about Price gouging.

Great Cabin

This was a very pleasant stay. The back porch on the river was peaceful and shaded in the afternoon with a wonderful light breeze. I closed all windows and had brought a couple of floor box fans since it was going to be warm. The cabin stayed cool enough. Not too close to the neighbors. The only thing I could suggest is a step stool for the kitchen. The cabinets are very high for shorter people such as myself. I always carry a step stool with me in my truck, so I was fine.

high temperatures

beautiful surroundings and nice. No AC and because of the high temp it was extremely hot inside the cabin. We had to leave a day early because it was too hot to sleep there another night. A couple window AC's would've been nice to have. Thank you.
