Return to Jamestown

WE used to Live on Jamestown We came back for a celebration of friends of ours. I was great to have a place on Island Not the craziness of Newport. We were able to see friends We went back to the different places on Island that we spend time at when we lived there The cottage was great gave us a good location and great place to stay when our friends had other plans We really enjoyed it

Beautiful Cottage Loft

Had a great stay in Jamestown! The place was clean, well-maintained, and had all the essentials we needed. It made our visit comfortable and hassle-free. Would definitely stay here again!

Location location location

The cottage was perfect for myself and husband. Location was good, easy to walk to downtown. Small kitchen, good for coffee/tea and snacks. Might be tight to really cook something Bedrooms are big, a queen and set of twin beads. Could easily fit a king! All the linens and towels were good quality

Calming beach

What a beautiful, clean apartment just a 5 minute walk to Mackeral Cove. Floating out in the calm water brings such peace. Would definitely stay again! Jamestown is a fun area to explore.

Walking distance to beach

The Coastal Cottage loft was very clean and contained all of the amenities you need for a short stay. The location was a short convenient walk to the beach, and the neighborhood was charming and quiet.

Beautiful Gem

We have traveled to Jamestown the past four summers and each year we have stayed at this loft. It’s our home away from home and we love it. Quiet with a great location. Walking distance to beach. Beautiful small town with friendly people.

Perfect beach hideaway

The ideal beachy New England apartment, peacefully hidden away just minutes from the beach at Mackerel Cove. Easy to park, everything you could ever need including bbq, fire pit, outside shower and beach trailer. Large, comfortable rooms and very attentive property managers - a great find for families or couples.

Comfy and Clean

Loved this cozy little 2 BR apartment. The picture led me to believe our rental was a house, but it wasn’t. Though we were comfortable, climbing stairs to this garage apartment was difficult. We hope to return, but will probably stay in a house in the Newport area.

Overall the property was what we expected. In spite of receiving instruction regarding entry at the second door we arrived in the pouring rain and my umbrella obscured the sign on the first door. Suggest the sign be moved to just over keypad. Open shelves between cabinets and microwave

A splendid retreat!

We had a really lovely three days during a recent visit to Jamestown for the Newport boat show. It's clear the hosts have put a lot of care into making the "Loft" cozy and inviting. From high-quality linens and furnishings to beach items and lots more. Highly recommended!

Lovely stay

It was a great property and a comfortable stay. The rooms were clean and adorably furnished, and the amenities were thoughtful. We enjoyed both Jamestown and Newport easily, and were glad to be slightly off the beaten path and not in the middle of Newport. The hosts provided clear and consistent communication and we would love to visit again.

The Perfect Vacation Getaway

The stay at Robin and Maryann's coastal cottage loft was magnificent. The loft was impeccable and contained all the amenities we could every want. The beach was in walking distance and beautiful. We took advantage of the quaint town of Jamestown, right on the water with lovely shops and delicious restaurants. We took a sunset cruise to Newport and back to Jamestown. It was, by far, one of the most relaxing and perfect vacations I have been on. I am looking forward to returning. Thank you Robin and Maryann - you are superb hosts.

Relaxing few days in Jamestown

This cottage was perfect for my husband and myself and our son and his girlfriend. Sweet, quiet little place. Easy walk to town and to the beach. There is not much going on in Jamestown, so we probably should have spent more time in Newport. The first night we arrived we went looking for a restaurant at 8:45 as the New Yorkers we are and everything was closed by 9 pm! Had to buy snacks at Cumberland Farms for dinner. But, then we went to several very good restaurants earlier the next two nights. The cottage was very comfortable and hosts were responsive and helpful.
