So, the check in process was a little confusing. The original link I received did not have the code for the front door of the building. Also, the code to the door of the apartment was kind of buried in the message and the instructions were not very clear, so that delayed my plans a bit. They were responsive and I was able to get them on the phone quickly to get both things resolved.
The apartment was the perfect location for me and it was immaculate. Everything in the room worked as it should.
The last thing I'll say, and maybe this is a general complaint for most VRBO properties is that they charged a hefty fee for apartment clean up, but then also add all these instructions, like taking out the trash, washing al the dishes, etc., with the threat of keeping the security deposit if it isn't done. I know this may seem petty, but if I'm paying a cleaning fee for 2 nights, I expect that to pay for trash pick up, dish washing, and everything else that may need cleaning.
