Nice time overall, but property needs some attention

The location right on the water was really neat, and we enjoyed being able to access the lake out the back door. We also appreciated being able to bring our pups and the kayaks and boat. Unfortunately, the house needs a deep cleaning, and the bedding could use an upgrade. The house has a cluttered feeling when you start trying to cook and open cabinets and drawers. There are lots of random things left behind in the bathrooms, kitchen, and backyard from past guests. There was broken tile, old fishing line and hooks, and a general unkempt feeling in the backyard area. Overall, we had a nice time but we would’ve appreciated a property that was better maintained for the price we paid.

Awesome weekend stay!

We stayed here for an extended weekend while in town for a gymnastics competition. House was wonderful! Property was beautiful! Just enough space for our family and dogs to enjoy each other and the wonderful views. Even caught some nice fish from the backyard! Would gladly stay again.

A chill, low key, great vacation rental.

We were in the area for a week, visiting the national park and other local attractions. The house was convenient, clean, easy to access/get to and from. It was an all around good experience. My kids had a great time fishing and kayaking. We were able to chill out and get away. Thanks.

Peaceful place

The property was nice. It was convenient to town and was fairly private.We enjoyed spending time outside in the deck/patio and by the water in the dock.4 different options for grilling and the fire pit was great in the evenings to unwind.

Beautiful Home and Location

We had such a lovely stay here. The home was clean and spacious for our large family. We were close to downtown and activities, but far enough out that we didn't feel like we were in the city. The water and dock set up is perfect and provided a lot of fun for the family.The owners were very quick to respond, which was helpful and appreciated.This is a great place to stay!

Night Beauty

This was a great place to stay for the price on Lake Hamilton. We thoroughly enjoyed the ambience of the night. From the Big picture window, where you can see the lit up back area, to sitting outside on the back patio with a fire pit and the lights from Lake Hamilton off in the view. Loved the bluetooth speakers outside you could play music from. Relaxing!!! I loved that if we had wanted to kayak we could have. Nice layout, bed comfy. Definitely pet friendly, with a little in out door and with fenced in area open to the water. Newly renovated. Snacks and a welcome note with cell numbers for easy communication. Very responsive and super nice. Just a min from Walmart a plus. The only con I can say is out of there control. The view across into the neighbor's yards are not as picturesque during the day and not enough to deter another stay, especially if you stay visiting all the beautiful sites in the area.

Family Spring Break 2025

The property was clean, interior was tastefully decorated. We enjoyed the amenities available to us. I would definitely recommend this property to others and would stay here again if we travel back to Hot Springs. Spring break in Hot Springs

Couldn’t have picked a better spot! House is conveniently located to everything you want to do in Hot Springs. Owners were very communicative with the questions we had and they had everything you’ll need for your trip. We will definitely be back next time we come to Hot Springs!

Great Time

The property met all of our needs and more. We were pleasantly surprised at all the little extras that made it feel like home. We had plenty of room for our family of two couples and 4 kids. The location of the house is perfect for a quiet, relaxing trip with the benefits of being close to stores and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Enjoyed Our Stay Very Much

Our stay was everything we hoped for and more. Very clean and well appointed. We will try to return next year. Highly recommend this location for either a couple or a family. We could not have asked for better!

Great place, 10 minutes from everything

Booked for a family getaway to watch my son play baseball for NPC college in Hot Springs. We wanted to be close to the college, water, downtown and restaurants. This place was great!!! The younger adults loved the Kayaks the property offered. The older adults loved the fire pit and TV outside patio area. The property was older, but well-maintained and very clean. Big plus that it caters to pets, they even dog bowls and a crate for you to use while on their property. We will definitely be visiting again!

Good for the price

Details were nice. Like coffee, creamer and filters and snacks on arrival. Also, plenty of towels bath and boating. Den couch needs to be replaced. Discolored and wood between the cushions to keep it from sagging. All metal chairs, inside and outside and bar stools are very uncomfortable to sit in.

Comfortable and Clean

The house is located in a very nice lakeside spot and we enjoyed the kayaks and paddleboard. Indoor was clean and comfortable with all the amenities we could need and then some. We had a little trouble with the front door handle but it works fine once you figure it out. We were annoyed by the spiders and webs outside but we didn't notice anything indoors so that was good! Melissa was very helpful and responded quickly. Thank you for making that so easy and comfortable!

Relaxing stay

Perfect Spot!

Perfect place to enjoy the lake with family. Close to stores, restaurants and boat ramp. Clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Outdoor area with 2 TV’s were a great addition to hang outside with family.

Great stat right on the lake

The inside of the house is remodeled and very nice and cozy. We loved having three bedrooms, especially the kids bedroom that had bunk beds and a daybed and an XBox! Everything is very well stocked. The best part is the location! You can jump off the dock into the cove and we loved using the included kayaks, paddle board and floating mat! It’s about 15 minutes from Hot Springs National Park and near by to grocery stores and restaurants. Great place and we would definitely recommend staying here to anyone.

Getaway

We had a mom’s weekend getaway and this was the perfect place. There were many items supplied that were not expected but very helpful. We enjoyed the quiet cove, watching the geese, and sitting by a fire on a surprisingly cool July night.

Great for hosting

Another property of Melissa's that was perfect for our stay. This property is great for hosting our local family. Plenty of room for everyone to visit inside and out.
