Fiddler’s Cove 12G

Great location! 5 minute walk to the beach. Close to grocery store and restaurants. Unit was clean. I would suggest that you bring a Swiffer sweeper to help with the sand being brought in by foot. Unit did not have a Keurig coffee maker. Management was very responsive to my questions.We will definitely be back!

Would stay again but dishes were wet in the cabinets, drain in the twin bedroom bath needs unclogged and female gate guard was very prickly. Very clean and close to everything!

Spring Break

Everything was great! The living room tv was missing a battery. We are a golf family and checked in the day of the Masters and could not watch it on tv because the channel was not an option. With Hilton Head being a golf community, I would suggest having golf channels available. The tv in the master bedroom needs to be updated…volume doesn’t work well. And, the kids wished they had a tv in their room, so I would suggest a tv for the other bedroom as well. There were also nats everywhere. Every morning, would find several dead on the bathroom floors, bedroom floors, and kitchen. Overall, a great stay!

We really enjoyed the location and the condo was very clean. However the beds were not comfortable and the master shower curtain kept falling.

Condo good! Vacasa horrible!

Condo nice, good value, great location. Vacasa the management company horrible! Had an issue with WiFi, didn’t hear back until 27 hours after first talking to customer service. Vacasa sent about 10-15 text and the majority asking me to download their app. We have 2 short term rental properties in Orlando, so thankful I thew away the 20+ mailers from Vacasa requesting to help manage.

Wonderful getaway!

This was an amazing place to get some rest and relax during our busy last semester of nursing school. The beach was a short walk from our apartment. The atmosphere was quiet and cozy. Definitely will be coming back as soon as I can and share this place with all traveling to the area.

Unit 12G

Reference our review of the unit itself that we just submitted. Happy with the location and communication from Vacasa but would not stay in this unit again until it is renovated/has some required upgrades. Unit is old and needs upgrades.

It is an older housing unit, but still very nice. We were driving 8 hours to stay, and did not ask for early access to the condo, but the ability to park on location if arriving early(any hotel will allow you to park and access the property if you arrive early). They would not allow this, which was crazy when I arrived to see literally ample/excessive amounts of available parking. It’s a small detail that would be easy to accommodate, but they have no desire to do so. It’s easier to say “no”. We enjoyed our stay, but there is no above and beyond mentality for sure.

Fun week at Hilton Head

We enjoyed our time here. Clean and updated space. A bit farther from beach than expected but beautiful walk. 4/10 of a mile from door to sand. Kids are teens so walk wasn’t a problem. Beach wasn’t as crowded as surrounding beaches because of private entry gate. That was a plus! Pools on property were nice. Reasonable price for HH condo.

My sisters and I had decided to take our mom to the beach for the fairy time in her life, growing up on a farm we had little time for vacation, this little condo was absolutely amazing and our mom said she had the best first beach experience she could’ve ever imagined. Will definitely be back!!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!

Despite the good reviews, this place was nothing like it seems. First, the floors. Our feet were black just from walking around. Second, those twin beds. DO NOT expect a grown adult to sleep in them. Both beds are broken and EXTREMELY wobbly and loud with any move you make. Not to mention you’ll bounce right off of them and the clearly soiled linen. Third, you will hear EVERY SINGLE step from the apt above you. Right at 7 am and all the way up to midnight there was nothing but stomping around. Also loved the 6 am alarm phone vibrating from the apt above, really truly got no sleep. On check out day, which is at 10, the cleaning lady showed up at 9 am banging on the door. She then proceeded to wait outside the door blasting music and when we stepped out at 9:45 to bring bags down she walked into the unit without permission while we were using the restroom. We tried to contact the property manager and the phone number they have listed in there is the old owners number who sold the unit a year ago! Also, bring your own water there isn’t any here. Lastly, I’m suggesting maybe a booklet made with information and tips on the place for guests? We couldn’t even find info on the pool hours or location. Not guest friendly at all. Not recommending!!

Great getaway on HHI

Nicely appointed condo. Had everything that we needed for to cook/clean up during our stay. Community pool and hot tub was nice addition. Beach was beautiful! Only thing we could have ask for was some beach towels but that was easily fixed at the local store. Would stay here again.

Wonderful stay in 12G. Unit had everything we needed, and as an added bonus we were able to stay an extra few hours on our checkout day for a nominal charge. Loved the pools and access to private beach too!

Perfect Island experience

Enjoyed this property very much!! Short walk to the beach and Melinda provided everything needed that you don’t want to have to haul from home or take back! Beach chairs, cart, kitchen needs, and toiletries! Will stay again.

Fall vacation

Fiddlers cove is centrally located on the island…always enjoy staying here. Owners were extremely accommodating and very responsive…like within 15 min. The place was nicely decorated…and had everything needed for my trip. Would absolutely visit again.

Beautiful and great location

My family and I had a wonderful long weekend at this property. The condo is beautifully renovated. Tons of towels provided, extra blankets, Kitchen stocked with everything you need to cook. The washer and dryer were a great bonus. It was nice to be able to wash our clothes before heading home. Location was perfect! Very short, easy walk to the beach and Very close to dining and shopping. The owners were super nice and very fast to respond to any questions. We would definitely book this condo again in the future!

Lovely extended beach stay

We visited in Aug 2021 for 4 weeks, 2 adults and 1 child (4 yo). The unit was fantastic and exactly as pictured -- clean, comfortable, and updated. Communication was quick and reliable-Melinda is an excellent host. Upon check-in we had a bit of trouble with the internet and Melinda provided a solution immediately. We had everything we needed for an extended stay at the beach. The view was lovely and the location is an easy walk (or 2 min drive) to the beach or either of the two pools and many tennis courts. Overall great value and a wonderful experience, would definitely return!
