DC Get-a-Away

This cabin had all the amenities for a long weekend get-a-way for R&R! Great indoor cabin decor, peaceful outdoor setting, indoor wood fireplace, outdoor firepit area, games of all types and for all ages, and not far from local towns. It was a great experience!

Great modern secluded cabin

We had a great long weekend trip to celebrate my wife’s birthday ! The cabin and amenities are great! The cabin is both rustic and modern with quality modern appliances . There was plenty of cookware , dishes , glasses, utensils and everything was very clean . The basement floor had lots of games and activities that we enjoyed . Each television supported our own streaming device either Roku (hdmi) or Apple AirPlay . The internet is satellite based so weather could affect it but there is also cell phone service . It was a bit too cold and windy for the firepit outside but we enjoyed the fireplace indoors while watching some football and relaxing . There is a wood allowance provided at the cabin (12 pieces a day for fire pit or fireplace ) with the ability to buy more wood or bring your own. Overall just a great relaxing vacation place and a short drive from Berkeley. Sorings. I highly recommend this cabin !

A great cabin in the woods

A wonderful house with all the amenities you could ask for. Its secluded in the woods but also close enough to Hancock if you need supplies. A perfect getaway for friends, family, or anyone looking to get some relaxing in the woods. Very clean and the owners are quick to response if you need anything. 5 stars.

Rustic cabin with all comforts

Really cool cabin inside and out, decorations and furniture all unique, rustic, and cozy. Location is plenty secluded with no other homes in sight. But only a short drive to shops, restaurants, or groceries. Very quiet road. Basement has more entertainment than you can imagine. Cabin is laid out very nice with good spaces, big bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. Our family would highly recommend this cabin to anyone.

Love to cook? A VERY STOCKED kitchen.

We spent a (too short) 4-day stay and could have easily spent a month and not ran out of things to do. The game room was a hit; the game cabinet had more games than a toy store. We were blessed with beautiful autumn weather. Parked the car and enjoyed the cabin property the entire time. We enjoyed baking homemade bread and hope to be back.

Great mountain location!

We have stayed in multiple mountain cabins. This one was comfortable, close to the stuff we cared about, and quietly remote without being too far off the grid. Would certainly recommend it to others.

Relaxing Long Weekend

Enjoyed the cabin for relaxing and spending time together as a family. Has all you need and more. The basement game room was the winner for my kids and we enjoyed watching movies and exploring the property as well! Highly recommend!

Fantastic Cabin!!

We loved this cabin. It was perfect for our family. It was immaculate and so well outfitted. They had everything we needed. We loved the main living area and spent time there gathering, playing games, and enjoying the fireplace. We loved the basement and had a great time together playing air hockey, ping pong, darts, and video games. Overall, a wonderful place to stay. We will definitely stay again.

Family Event

My husband and I, our adult daughter, and adult sons and spouse and 2 grandchildren stayed in this wonderful quiet cabin for 3 nights for a family event at our son’s house who lived a few miles from the cabin. The cabin was very nice, quiet, plenty of room for us to spread out, we loved the fireplace and all the beautiful stars in the night sky. It was a perfect stay in a perfect place for our needs.

Cozy mountain escape!

Wonderful log cabin in the woods! Thoughtful design and decor... with everything I'd pick myself to spend a few days away from reality with my family. Play games, make s'mores, sleep in, watch movies, relax by the fireplace. Reconnect with friends or family and just enjoy each other and nature.

Awesome Cabin

We were very pleased with how well equipped this cabin was from the kitchen to the gameroom.The game room was a big hit for everyone in our family also has so many games and things to do in the cabin if weather isnt good. Fire pit outside was also big hit. Ver nice place to stay. Close to Berkeley Springs too. I would highly recommend this property for family and/or friends.
