Mike was very responsive to questions and issues. We didn’t have a set departure date and Mike was very understanding.Kitchen was well stocked with tools, normal spices, etc.Outside shower was key.Prime beaches for all age ranges were very close.

This was a longer term stay with my family of four and Mike could not have been better as a host. Communicative, friendly, prompt, willing to work with you on whatever you might need.As far as the place itself, the already glowing reviews say it all. Highlights: spotless when we arrived, stocked with anything you can think of (and more). Well-located to beaches and food. Spacious. Beautiful and relaxing, green and lush. We hope that it will be as nice a memory for you as it was for all of us.

Paradise!

We were thrilled from our first to our last night in this great home. We weren’t sure what to expect when we arrived on Oahu for vacation. Right from the beginning though, this rental felt safe and secure. It was in a great location from which we were able to base our island explorations. The listing was accurate as to amenities and many extras were available for our use. Mike was in touch with us when he had heard there was a power outage. Attentive to our experience without being intrusive. He left us a welcome package with suggestions for activities and places to eat which we found very helpful. We’d recommend Mike and this property to anybody, just please keep it available for when we return to Hawaii.

Unbelievable family vacay spot

Our family of eight immensely enjoyed Mike’s property and the unmatched North Shore Oahu location. Such a great place to unwind and experience the beauty of the North Shore. Alligator Rock across the street was the hangout place for us. Would return again in an instant!

Wonderful house in a great North Shore location. Close to Haleiwa, Waimea, Sunset. The beach right across the street at Alligator Rock was perfect for our 18-month-old grandson, with protected areas behind the rock that blocked the sometimes large surf. Mike was so gracious and accommodating, and easy to communicate with. The house is stunning and very well equipped -- beach supplies, towels, kitchenware, spices and sauces. All you need to bring is food and beverage. Mahalo to Mike and Summer. Our family is already dreaming about a return visit!

Hawaiian Perfect

This north shore property quickly became our home away from home. The spacious lanai, the comfortable beds, the delightful baths, and the open living area was perfect for our family, dad, mom, and adult children with their partners. The home was extremely well stocked which we greatly appreciated. The owner was extremely responsive even bringing a new grill to the home so we could grill a few meals.

Beautiful property, easy drive to many places on North Shore

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It gave us easy access to many beaches, hikes, food options, short drive to shopping in Hale'iwa, and a beautiful drive to the Polynesian Cultural Center (~25 minutes). The PCC was a highlight for us.

North Shore Getaway

Located just a few minutes west of Waimea Bay and a few minutes east of the now bustling Haleiwa, this is a fantastic location. Great restaurants, groceries stores and amenities are all close by. You’re also no more than 20 minutes from all North Shore beaches. It’s quite a remarkable location over all. There is quite a variety of beaches within walking distance. Calm beaches with rocks and structure offering protected swimming, reefs with consistent surfing, reefs for large surf in the winter and so on. Turtles and copious amounts of marine life along with amazing sunset views are across the street. With a singular road, traffic can be a bear at times when the waves are decent or on weekends, but it’s easy to work around. When the waves are small there are some amazing snorkel places (Three Tables, Sharks Cove) just up the road. I can talk all about the location for a while, but it’s safe to say that there is a lot to do within 20 minutes of the house. The house itself is very well appointed, well maintained and is quite beautiful. The kitchen and great room are perfect for family dinners and the assorted pots, pans and utensils are probably the best of any VRBO we’ve stayed at. A family or two would have no issues staying here and enjoying the house, it’s amenities and surrounding environment. The hosts are good people, with easy lines of communication and prompt attention. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back or recommend to anyone.

Family fun!

My sister and myself rented this property for a family getaway with our 5 daughters. Mike was wonderful to deal with. He gave us some great ideas of fun things to see and do while we were there. The house was very comfortable and located within walking distance to the beach and turtle sanctuary. ( I must say that out of all Vrbo’s I’ve stayed at, this had the most fully equipped kitchen which made it easy to have some meals at home). I would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay especially if you want to be out of the hustle and bustle of the more touristy areas.

Beautiful home

This home is so well-appointed and beautifully designed! We had our work retreat on the North Shore and half of our company stayed here (5 people total). The other half came to visit frequently as the home had everything we needed to host dinners, workshops and other activities (the multiple seating areas, including the outdoor porch/table, were great). There are beaches close by, and Waimea is a gorgeous sandy beach <1 mile away, where we had team workouts in the morning. Definitely would recommend!

Perfect spot for a family meet-up!

The house is stunning and in a great location! Mike was very responsive and helpful. We met up with family to stay for 10 days (including a 1 year old) and had a wonderful time. The house is very well maintained, clean, and very accommodating! we fit 7 people (including kiddo) very easily and cooked / stayed in most evenings. Our favorite outing was to walk to the beach down the road and swim in the calmer water during the morning, and watch the sunsets at night. Would 100% come back and visit again!

Beautiful and well-equipped home

This home is as beautiful as it is well-equipped. You will find everything you need to make the North Shore your home from beach towels and chairs to a blender and rice cooker. Everything was clean and exactly as it appears in the listing. Our family spent time exploring the nearby beaches and food options in Haliewa. The beach right across the street (Alligator Rock) had nearly daily visits from sea turtles. Mike's communication, including clear instructions for all aspects of the property, was outstanding.

My family and I rented this property when my daughter was getting married.

This house had everything and more! It was very well maintained and very clean. The owner was very helpful and accommodating. It was centrally located to everything. The neighbors were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend to is house!

Beautiful house, wonderful host, great experience

Loved this place!

We loved Mike’s place. It was just as described on the website. Easily accessible, close to the beach and the property was beautiful. My kids loved the hot tub and the A/C was very much appreciated. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful house in amazing location

Michael’s property has everything you need from the kitchen utensils to beach going stuff like towels etc. We really enjoyed our stay because as the house is spacious and it’s in a great location close to the food trucks and a supermarket .

Family Vacation

The property is beautiful. The A/C units are upstairs so the downstairs units take 24-48 hours to cool down if the AC hasn't been running at full speed before you arrive. We purchased a fan for the down stairs room with the twin beds and left it for future families. The laundry room was handy. The property shares another home and they are the nicest family. We befriended them immediately and there were completely accommodating. The owner's addressed any issues we had immediately and were nothing but gracious. The kitchen, bathrooms, balcony's.....beautiful property. There are bicycles in the garage, boogie boards, and we left several pairs of wet socks for the next families who visit. I walked every morning and even used one of their bikes to get exercise, but travel safely on the busy road. Be aware at all times....don't recommend walking the road with children. We highly reccommend!! Plenty of space for everyone!
