Daughters family live in Penn Valley.

Great mountain retreat
This property was perfect for our two family vacation. There was plenty of room, we didn't feel like we were on top of each other. Wonderful views and a nice patio area with a fire pit.

This was a special place to spend the weekend. 3 kiddos (5, 3.5, 2.5) and their parents made this place a home. We spent a lot of time on the back porch and in the downstairs area. If we visited again we’d bring a baby gate for the top of the staircase just for some extra comfort with our littles. Could easily put a pack in play in every room and many upstairs. One of us had to stream a class one morning and the WiFi gave her no problems. Plenty of space for games, crafting and cooking large meals. The sun room in the front was a special secret garden! We brought scooters hoping the kiddos could utilize the driveway, unfortunately the mountainside is much too steep to let any of the kiddos loose. There was plenty of space for them to do other things though and they loved every bit! Very close to both Grass Valley and Nevada City, we would love to stay again.
