This chalet provided a perfect place to have fun with family while visiting Gatlinburg. There is plenty to entertain the children and adults. Love the 3 decks and multiple bathrooms. It was great to be able to use the back roads to avoid traffic.

The chalet is beautiful! Well maintained and comfortably furnished. Communication with the owner was very helpful. We are a family of 10 ranging age 3-70. We all enjoyed the accommodations. The location is easily accessible and scenic. Would definitely return there for our next trip to Gatlinburg.

Spring Break with Friends and Family

We were down for a long weekend with two other families, 6 adults and 8 kids (5-13). The house was in a great location. Walking distance to a little pub called The Rampant Lion, which we loved.We had a couple very minor issues, Chris was extremely responsive and worked with us to get everything in order.The hot tub was great, we made a day trip to Anakeesta, and a day to Grotto Falls.Highly recommend, and we hope to make another trip in the future.

Great Experience!

Everything was great! As advertised and very clean. Host was responsive and communicative the entire time. There was a group of 14 of us and the house fit us perfectly. The kids enjoyed the game room and ‘their own space’ downstairs. We’d stay here again on our next visit - which I think is the highest compliment!

Absolutely wonderful experience from the booking to going home. Beautiful cabin, best amenities. Chris the owner was very on top of making sure our trip was perfect!! Will be the only place we stay on returning trips!

Nothing short of amazing!

We traveled with our four children, ranging in age from 6-13, and this was PERFECT for all of us. Each kiddo got to enjoy their own room, which gave them alone time when needed. We loved the pool and the kids swam every day. It was a great relief after being out and about during the day. To come and chill in the pool or play some games. An amazing stay. I enjoyed coffee on the balcony every morning l.

Great property!

Beautiful property, comfy beds, fun indoor pool, great communal space. Few annoyances (the fridge is broken and bangs loudly when opened. The broken piece was obvious and clearly not fixed. Garbage can was broken. The main TV is very glitchy. So nothing major). Rooms are decent size but not huge which was a little tough with kids air mattresses. No Mountain View’s but good privacy with tree coverage. Overall a great stay!

Spacious cabin with so many extras!

The cabin was spotless! It was so spacious!! We all had our own bathrooms. My grandkids loved the heated pool. Us adults enjoyed the game room & hot tub. It had the country feel, without the scary roads & five minutes away from grocery store & fast food. The beds was so comfortable & we had extra pillows, blankets & towels. Cute plates & cups for the kids. Nice dinnerware. The decks was so nice to sit on with rocking chairs & a sectional. The fireplace was so nice & the couch was so comfy! Nice big dinner table, that fit us all. We was a group of 9. The host was amazing!! I’ve rented many cabins & he is far the best!! So friendly & very quick on responding back to us & even added some extra things for the kids at the cabin. We went for my granddaughters 5th birthday. Let’s say, it was the best. We were so sad to leave. There is only 3 cabins, so it made it so much more private. I could go on & on about the cabin & the host. Giving our experience there a 5 star gives no justice. I wish it had 10!!! If you are considering this cabin .. you won’t regret a thing!! We plan to go back in June!! Chris made our stay amazing!! You won’t find a better host!!

Great location, beautiful property, fun amenities!

Property owner communicates great and provides immediate support if needed. The cabin is nice, the pool and hot tub are great. The modern touches such as WiFi locks and entertainment are great. The location is fantastic and so is the place. Worth the money!

Excellent host, excellent house.

Chris was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was super quick with his responses to general questions we had and any minor (and I mean super minor) “issues” we had (the power tripped 1x and the garbage can was broken- nothing that would even damper the vacation), he was quick to address and make sure we were good. The house was great and offered plenty of space for our group, was easy to get to and find and with all the amenities- we had all we needed on this vacation and would love the opportunity to book with Chris again! Thank you, Chris!

Clean, Convenient and Great Communication

This cabin was immaculately clean, and the additional amenities like the coffee bar, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent, toiletries and ample towels made it convenient and relaxing. The owner was quick about responding to our only issue with the power door lock, but provided an alternative solution quickly! Our family and friends enjoyed our time at Up In The Smoke-ies very much!

Great Home and great for big families

We had a great time in this home. Perfect for large families but if you have very little kids I’d suggest possibly a different home. There was no gate or door to the downstairs so the little kids constantly wanted to go downstairs so we had to use things to block the stairs. This is just an FYI is you have any kids under 3. We did have a few hiccups with the home which the homeowner did try and fix for us. There was an issue with the beds being not cleaned and also lack of place to put our garbage. The WIFI was spotty. Bring your own grill because the grill provided was useless.

Great place

We stayed here during spring break. The location was great - close to town but tucked away far enough to avoid crowds with nearby restaurants off the beaten path. Our two girls (9 & 11) loved the pool, hot tub, and game room. The beds were comfortable and showers worked great. Wifi worked well too! Owner was highly responsive. Check in and out was a breeze.
