Cozy little home

We absolutely loved our stay at a Precious Place!! It was so enjoyable, peaceful and relaxing. Our boys absolutely loved the game room and hot tub and we enjoyed the short drive to the Gatlinburg strip. We would absolutely stay in this same house in the future and have already recommended it to some of our friends planning a Tennessee trip soon!!

Perfect house in a perfect location

Cute, clean house with all the amenities you might need including laundry. Nice hot tub. 2 bathrooms. Located minutes from the downtown area.

Nice little cottage with small game area and beautiful screened in porch to enjoy the outdoors.

Overall the stay was nice. Eclectic inside with antique furniture and nice ambiance with the lighting inside and outside. Furniture is antique so not quite as comfortable as newer but still nice. Cozy place and clean.

Close to town yet in the woods

The house is comfortable and close to town. Only issue we had was a non flushing toilet. Bears greet you but did not get to close. We enjoyed our time in Gatlinburg .

Personality plus property

Great stay, Beautiful area, was visited by a brown bear by the name of Pigeon toe. The house was loaded with personality with the porches, hot tub, game room, and friendly neighbors.. The only change that we would like is more coffee (Kuehrig) if at all possible, sugar, and clean the cobwebs on the ceiling. We will be back truly a great visit and look forward to the next one.

Bed bugs

A Precious Place - it truly is!

Cottage was very cozy and inviting and had all the amenities you could ask for. Although the neighbors are relatively close, the owner has done a lot to keep it feeling very private -- and we actually only saw one neighbor during our stay. One of my favorite places we've stayed and would definitely go back.

Decent place but Mgt was poor

We traveled from out of state and arrived a half hr early. We reached out to Mgt and asked if we could drop our bags. They stated there were no early check-ins period. We arrived at the property since it was on the way. Clearly all cleaning had been done and no one was there. Even though we had the code to enter, we just sat in the driveway until the check-in time. Now I travel for my job and arrive at hotels many times early because of flight times. If the room is ready, the hotel has no problem checking me in. The request here was for a half hr early. We proceed to move in and can't connect to the Wfi. I contact mgt. and ask for help. They give me the password again and I tell them I've tried it along with different versions(caps, lower case, etc). I explain I need it to saty connected to my business and there was no cell service. They say someone will be out that evening. No one does. I contact them about 9pm and ask what happened. They have no excuse and say someone will be out the next morning. The next morning I contact them at 10am and ask where they are. They say maintenace will take 2hrs to get there. I finally explain to them that they were so strict about my check in time that it's sad when I need them to deliver and do what they say they're going to do they fail. Especially when it's work related. And of course maintence shows up when we're eating. Guy was very nice and apologized for interrupting. At first glance the "cabin" had a country "shabby chic" appearance. Neighbors though are right on top of you and while we were waiting in the drive way the next door neighbor decideded to come out and "inspect" the siding of her house. We got the feeling that the neighbors live in their homes and don't like the fact this former home has been turned into an air B&B. My wife found used soap in the shower and the bedrooms get unevenly warm at night with the back bedrooms getting very warm while the far bedrooms were cold. Otherwise we had an enjoyable stay. The kitchen was nice with pretty much all items needed for cooking. The living room had one very comfy couch, one OK couch and three uncomfortable chairs. Bottom line: we wouldn't stay here again because of mgt. and the fact that we were staying in a residential community with people that lived in their homes. Theres types of short term rentals should be banned in these areas. I wouldn't appreciate it.

I wouldn't go back

The house is cute but the furniture and carpet is in need of deep cleaning or re-upholstery. The lower porch and outside of home was COVERED in centipedes which was very creepy. One night as we came home a strange man (we think it may have been a neighbor) came walking out of the hot tub gazebo. He didn't acknowledge us or explain why he was in there. The neighbors seem unfriendly and unwelcoming. We couldn't really relax on the living room furniture because it was dirty and uncomfortable.

They thought of everything!

Wonderful place to stay! The owners had thought of everything that vacationers would need! Well stocked kitchen, all of the light switches were labeled, sturdy bathroom hooks for travel bags, a private gazebo for the hottub, and much more. The attention to detail was amazing. It was close enough to Gatlinburg that it was only a 5 minute drive but secluded enough you only had a few close neighbors! Would stay here again!

Excellent place to stay!

My family really enjoyed staying at 'A Precious Place'. It was super nice and cozy. The entire house was clean and neat, decorated so nice and was so inviting. We felt at home when we entered the house! The owners left little notes to help us identify light fixtures, wifi password, and other tidbits of information to help us on our stay! They even left a savings card for the local grocery store to help with groceries during our stay! There was things to do for all ages ! We even encountered bears during our stay! It was such a memorable stay and we will be renting again!!!
