Overall, the place is very good. We liked the location. It is a little out of the madness of downtown Gatlinburg, but there are plenty of places to eat and shop.
If you want to see bears, there were several on the property during our stay. We were careful not to interfere with them, especially the mama and two cubs who were on the porch when we came home from dinner one night. They quickly made their way into the woods when we pulled up, so no problem.
Beds were comfortable, except for the pull-out sofa. Like most of them, not really great for adult sized bodies. Bedding and towels were plentiful as was hot water.
Kitchen is well equipped and the cabinets actually had many food items like salt and pepper, so check before you hit the grocery store.
The game room was great. The boys had fun.
There were some issues that didn't really interfere with our stay, but the place could use some TLC. The rocking chair had a broken leg, the ice machine sounded like a wood chipper, and there were burned out lightbulbs everywhere. We never did get the front porch light to work.
Great place, but don't expect perfection.
