We loved this cute mid-century modern home. Comfortable beds and furniture, and excellent decor — a bit quirky, a little science-y, with plenty of local pride and a little history in the mix. Books and games.
Can we talk about the view? Water, islands, trees. So lovely and calming. Whether you’re relaxing in the living room, eating on the deck or chilling in the hot tub, you’ll be mesmerized by the view of the strait and Henry Island, with Canada visible in the distance.
Location is near Roche Harbor, the sculpture garden, Snug Harbor (we did an awesome Crystal Seas kayak tour out of Snug Harbor resort), and the fantastic Westcott Bay Shellfish Co. Not too far from Lime Kiln State Park. Very near the alpaca farm, which we didn’t end up having time to visit — but you should.
Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, etc and also helpfully stocked with sugar, spices, salt. Bathrooms had hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and plenty of TP.
Not the newest or fanciest house on the island - but comfy, casual, and full of character. I took so many photos of the cool decor. We loved our stay here.
