The story begins here, I got in an Uber from
the airport, the Uber driver immediately asked if I knew where I was going. Upon arrival he warned me that this is “the most unsafe area in all of Fort Worth”. I went in the house and noticed shortly after somebody had gone into the gate and was cutting through the property. I immediately contacted the property owner to cancel and rent a new location. The listing is incredibly misleading. The house itself is slightly worse than advertised, but acceptable. The “house” next door is boarded up and falling to the ground, the shack across the street is rotting and in the same condition. We arrived to a police chase, and there are numerous abandoned vehicles scattered about the perimeter of the property. After checking in, I attempted to contact the property owner about this and was told “go ahead and cancel” after proceeding with VRBO the property owner refused to refund the rental. The property owner is a misery to work with, please save yourself the headache.
