Great stay!

Really enjoyed our stay at Firefly Cottage! We enjoyed the quiet location and proximity to everything. We rode bicycles everywhere and loved the screen porches. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. House was set up great for me, my husband, our kiddo and dog. We hope to visit again soon!

Lovely Cottage for a rainy stay.

The weather did not cooperate, however cottage was well appointed. Furnishings were clean, upholstery was clean. Doggies liked the golfers and the deer. Beds were nice. Would stay there again.

Winter Getaway

I spent a month at Firefly Cottage. Very nice home for my winter getaway! Loved the open floor plan with plenty of room inside and out for dining and relaxing. Beds were comfortable. Nicely stocked kitchen and cooked often throughout my stay. Loved that there are two screened porches. Very quiet neighborhood and everyone we encountered was very friendly! Restaurants and beach accesses are a short drive away - just minutes. This was my first time staying at Edisto Beach and looking forward to returning!

Nice quiet location.

Very nice, peaceful and relaxing. We loved the screened back porch. We enjoyed watching the deer roam around in the evening. We had an owl visit us a couple nights.

Great little cottage

My husband and I found this cottage met all of our needs. It is a little dated…bathrooms could use some updates…but we were comfortable. It’s dog friendly which is a huge plus for us. Quiet area great for walking the dog.

The house could use a refresh, somewhat dated. Master bathroom shower door will not fully close. Many doors stick and are hard to open. Kitchen has little storage. You need to bring in an exterminator as way too many bugs. Beds were comfortable. Quiet location, enjoyed watching the golfers.

Great porches, uncomfortable beds!

The cottage was comfortable - except for the beds! Most furniture was fine; the cooking pans should all be replaced - non-stick coatings were scratched so the pans were unusable except for a set of nice stainless pots. Vacasa was prompt in responding to a few problems. The decks & steps need power washing.

Enjoyed A Quick Getaway

Thanks for a relaxing few days for my first visit to Edisto. This property is a bit dated -- nothing fancy -- but still very comfortable. Only "complaint" (that's not even really a compliant): Could never figure out how to access cable service from the TCL Roku system. Instructions left in the house/online may need to be updated. Current instructions are not accurate. Inputs could not be changed. I'd consider a return visit to Firefly Cottage.

Very Quiet and Great Porch

All of us were very comfortable and happy with Firefly Cottage. The back screened-in porch was delightful, especially for coffee n the morning. We ate most of our meals there. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was adequately equipped. The only negative is that more people have "found" Edisto. This was our 4th visit and it was a lot more crowded.

Teacher rest and rejuvenation.

Well supplied but bring paper products. The two screen porches were great. The overhead fan on back porch didn’t worked but there was a fan to use in closet. Two bedrooms were great. Third bedroom in loft was a little difficult to deal with the stairs going up to it. Kitchen and coffee maker was great. Nice laundry room with small washer and dryer. Had a great time at firefly cottage.

First trip to Edisto. Won’t be the last.

A 5 day trip to Edisto for my wife and I and our dog Sammy. This was our first trip to Edisto beach, which is why we made it a relatively short trip. We wanted a small house that was dog friendly, and were happy to find the firefly cottage. It was perfect. The firefly Cottage was great - loved the front & back screened in porches. The area around the cottage is beautiful- old growth oaks makes you know you are in the Deep South. Edisto Beach is great - you can just feel the stress slip away in this quaint, small beach town. If you are “over Florida” like many of us, give this a try.

Delighted with my short stay (wish it was longer!). Easily reported a couple of minor maintenance issues so your stay can be even better! I especially enjoyed the artwork and relaxing on the back porch facing west during late afternoons,.

Great Christmas Getaway!

Our stay at Firefly Cottage was awesome! Really peaceful. The weather was perfect and the house was everything we hoped it would be. Loved the location, the house was clean and comfortable, and the entire process from booking through checkout was efficient and easy. Loved our time at Edisto and will definitely be going back. Another delightful stay at Firefly Cottage on Edisto

This cozy cottage with all you'll need plus two great screen porches is a wonderful place to spend time as a couple or with friends joining in. Easy cycling or walking to the beach; great neighborhood for a morning power walk; entertaining to watch golfers miss the fairway into the creek! Of course, there's always playing golf, too. Great food down the road at Ella + Ollie's and lastly, you can have your dog with you. Perfect!
