Excellent Cabin

Our family enjoyed this little cabin so much! The cabin was so clean and had everything a family would need for the week. The bay is so quiet and peaceful. The lake is beautiful and clear. Thank you to the host, Luke, for communicating promptly when we had a few questions. This is a gem of a cabin! Thank you!

Fabulous Week

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin in Tranquil Bay. The home was perfection, it was clean, updated, and the hosts clearly put tremendous thought and effort into visitor stay’s. The lake is beautiful. My son (and whole family) loved the fishing, especially off the dock. His first cast actually resulted in a nice bass! The neighbors are friendly and Cedar Creek Grille for dinner was a fantastic recommendation. We just had the best time and couldn’t have planned a better week. Many thanks.

The lake was absolutely beautiful. It was extremely quiet and was very relaxing. It was easy checking in etc.We had issue due to apple tree, there was a lot of wasp by the door going in and out. My husband cleaned up apples to prevent them from coming in and flying around on the deck. We enjoyed playing cards but the kitchen table chairs were extremely uncomfortable. I was a little disappointed that furniture wasn’t in better condition. We also went out and bought two pans to use for cooking as everything was sticking to them.We enjoyed the location and the beautiful view. I personally feel this would five stars if some updating was made. I personally feel this feedback is important.Thank you for sharing your place.

What a beautiful view! Overall, the house was super clean, the kitchen ware was excellent, and the beds were comfortable. Upstairs bathroom is beautiful. Only downfalls were the ants, ticks, and the room for shoes. Highly recommend!!

Peace and Quiet

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was great and lived up to the description and pictures. Luke was very responsive to answering a few questions via text. ( we did not understand the electronic lock at first, but he got us fixed up quickly ). Grand Rapids is close enough to be able to run to town for a meal or grocery shopping. Nothing but praise for this lake cabin.

Girls' Getaway

The home has been lovingly and tastefully redone. It is super well-equipped. The owners have really thought ahead to maximize the usefulness of their home, with multiple sitting areas on the property. The professional listing photos capture the feel of the place, however, manage your expectations of the size of the rooms and common areas. In summer, there is enough room for 8 people since you can spill outside. If you are all house bound, it will be TIGHT! We had a group of 7 women ages 20-50. I would never try to put 10 people in this home! If you are couples, it is a 6 person house. If you bring toddlers, there are very steep open stairs to the basement. It was nice to have the multiple beds, be aware the top 2 bunks are shorter than normal, I believe. The view is great and its nice to be close to the water. Perfect for launching a canoe or kayak. I dont think anyone should expect it to be a swimming beach, though, entry into the water is shallow and sticky. The home worked well for us overall, but if you push it's limits, you might be disappointed. It's small, simple and cheery, in a quiet setting, it's not a big party house. The owners are very responsive and its clear that they want you to enjoy your stay. We certainly did!

Beautiful Cabin, Great Location

Our stay was wonderful! The cabin has been beautifully renovated and offers everything you need for a great stay at the lake - kitchen items, extra linens, gas grill, fire pit, cards and board games and plenty of outdoor space for lounging. The cabin is exceptionally clean and well maintained and the owners were always available to answer questions or offer recommendations. The lake itself is spectacular! Great fishing, beautiful shoreline, big enough for tubing and skiing. Lots of opportunities to get out in nature on the lake and on the trails near by. We can't wait to stay again. Thank you Luke & Amy!

Beautiful Lake.

Nice clean cabin. Looks to have been recently updated. Clean. Did our swimming out on sand bar in lake... shore line at cabin a little mucky. Nice floating dock for our boat. Neighbors were friendly.
