Horrible experience
The host Daphne is asking me for 400. For a step on the stairway that was already broken. It was already broken and merely pushed back into place, presenting a fall hazard for me and my small grandchildren!!! My daughter fell down the stairs as soon as we walked into the house. It was already loose and pushed into place. I am disabled and this would have been catastrophic had I actually fallen all the way down the stairs!!Your lack of maintaining a structurally sound and compliant short-term rental property is contrary to all city code compliance regulatory standards.I immediately called, messaged through VRBO, texted and emailed the Host Daphne about all the issues with the rental house. I was very disappointed due to all the issues we experienced before and upon arrival. I called Customer Support to complain about her request for all my personal information and the personal information for all my family such a copy of our photo identification against our face, front and back of my credit card. I was disappointed with the 31 rules she provided for the house. One of the rules requested we park in the garage. Once we arrived to the rental house, we unloaded the cars and opened the garage door to pull into it but we couldn’t pull in because the garage was full of trash and boxes and trash bags full of wet leaves that had a foul odor. We took pictures of the trash in the garage, broken bed, broken step on the stairway and the dirty pool. We were so frustrated.
