We couldn't have been more pleased with this well thought out and comfortable property. I want to thank the host for making such home away from home available for people to rent, as it was our sanctuary on the rainy/drizzly days and our peace after long days of hiking through the Redwoods or just general driving around site seeing. There were all kinds of little extras that made our stay here absolutely perfect. The ocean is SHORT walk away and it was lovely going to our car in the morning to have the sounds and feel of the Pacific greet you. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to our friends.

It was just what we needed and a good base for all our activities. The four stars were because two of the beds were not that comfortable and friends that were with us complained that maybe the mattresses needed turning. Other than that all was good! Kitchen had everything we needed and there were plenty of towels and linens

Only a couple blocks to the beach. The house looks pretty basic from the outside, but very nicely updated throughout the inside and surprisingly big. Very clean and comfortable. Great place to stay.

Property was amazing with a view of the lighthouse and close to the ocean. Neighbors have a construction company so there were always several vehicles and people next door but the house its of was so great.

What a beautiful property. It had all the amenities you would want in this day and age. It was perfect for our family and still had room for more! Location was ideal. Would definitely recommend it and come back again!

Very Clean, nice home with a lot of amenities and in a nice area, with the redwoods being so, so close. Lots of restaurants. Gorgeous ocean view a block away. Would 100% stay again. Only issue was the walls are very thin. You can hear everything from every room. Mostly fine for us because we all went to bed and got up at the same time and made it work, but I could see it being a problem for families or groups with slightly different schedules. We dried some clothes at bedtime and it kept the whole house up. Couldn’t watch TV in the main bedroom because the person in the guest room could hear it clearly, that sorts of things.

Very convenient to so many areas. Quite and clean. Nice neighbors.

Nice place. Would come back. A couple of suggestions: a pair of scissors, baggies, kleenex. Also if there is a tsunami warning 2 days before our stay, and you are that close to ocean, a quick email stating everything was okay would have been nice.

We had a great stay - the house was great. Spacious, roomy and clean for our family of 4. Great location near the beach and local restaurants. The Redwoods are beautiful! If we are in the area again, we would definitely stay here again. Thank you for the hospitality.

Absolutely Perfect!

The location was so fantastic, with being a block away from the ocean and the park right across the street. Also a great home base for exploring the Redwoods. The home truly felt like a home rather than a rental. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was very well stocked, the bathrooms and kitchen were very nice, there was more than enough space for our family of 6, we thoroughly enjoyed the games and puzzles, and all of the little touches and amenities were very well thought out. We stayed in 7 different homes on our journey down Hwy 101, and this one was definitely our favorite.

Clean, large home in a great location.

We stayed for two nights in June, we did not need such a large house, but the location and proximity to the ocean was perfect. We did not cook, but kitchen is well stocked, even two dishwashers. We were able to walk to restaurants, the lighthouse and the ocean. The master bedroom and bath are gorgeous, dark wood beamed ceilings, felt like we were in Tahoe. Easy check in and communication with the owner. Fabulous for large groups.
