Great house!

Perfect spot. Spacious, well-organized, aesthetically beautiful. Very convenient from New York City; a relaxing escape into some nature. Plenty of table space for meals with our group. We all left blissed out…

Great service, loads of complementary extras, close to hiking trails

We enjoyed our time at Storm Kind Moutain - hiked, went to Lego-Land, and Splash Country. Everyone loved the dining room table (as long as it looks and the first place we've stayed where the table fit the family). The opportunity to bring pets was also a huge plus. The hosts were super communicative, accommodating and responsive. The house was stocked with tp, paper towels, and soap/shampoo/etc. The only thing that keeps me from providing a 5 is that some areas (kitchen, showers, for example) are brand new and others are in need of attention (outside furniture, downstairs couch, one of the kids beds). The house may be a work in progress - and if so, I would definitely visit again and provide the 5 the place and hosts deserve.

Beautiful Country Hideaway with Modern Touches

We loved our stay here. Coming from NYC, this was a welcome respite. The location was serene, house was cozy and clean, and we loved the amount of space for our party. I would definitely recommend!

West Point Parents Weekend

House was very comfortable and as described. Outdoor areas are fabulous, but Rainey weather kept us from fully utilizing. Beautiful setting in the woods with a wonderful waterfall. Lease than 15minutes to West Point. Great location for visiting cadets!

Best Wedding Weekend Ever

We had an amazing stay at this storm king property. Hosts were beyond communicative as we had to coordinate a few outside vendors come in to use to get ready for our wedding party. All together the house was perfect to catch up with college friends and take wedding photos and really set the tone for a festive weekend in the Hudson Valley. Already thinking of when we could book again!

Hello heaven!

Just an hour from New York City is a magical home perched near the Hudson and kissing distance of Storm King hosted by Amy and Mike. From the first warm welcome message by our host, to the smell of fresh homemade pizza baked by our best friend in the immaculate kitchen as we arrived, we knew we found something special. Little did we know how special. Past the spacious deck, overlooking the beautifully designed rotunda of the fire pit, is your own private waterfall. Needless to say, it’s a quiet wonderland for friends and family to celebrate special times, as we did. Thank you Amy and Mike for sharing your home with us!
