The host was accommodating. The basement area had a bad smell that couldn't be fixed with an air freshener. The bath tub in the house upstairs had a stopper that didn't work so we couldn't enjoy the big barh tub. Luckily the hot tub was nice and clean. The views are great. Just wish the whole house could have been enjoyed. The bed upstairs is also ungodly uncomfortable.

Toilet in bottom bathroom was stopped up when we arrived and we couldn't get it to get clear so 7 of us shared the one Toilet. Jets in the garden tub didn't work in the big bathroom. And the out door trash container was full so left trash in the house tiedUp. But all else was nice

Everything was perfect! The house was remarkably clean upon arrival and is located in a very quiet, private area close to both Cleveland and Helen. The property and creek were perfect for our Golden Retriever, and the kids enjoyed the pool table and arcade. I highly recommend this property!

I was shocked by the condition of this cabin when we arrived. The toilets were filthy and clearly hadn’t been cleaned after the previous tenants, and there was debris and even pet food scattered across the floors. The kitchen was no better—roaches were present, and the dishes in the cabinets were still wet, which was unsettling and unsanitary.On top of that, the downstairs toilet was completely clogged, and the toilet on the main level ran nonstop the entire stay. To make matters worse, we found human hair from the previous guests in the bed sheets, which made it impossible to feel comfortable sleeping there.Overall, the cleanliness and maintenance of this cabin were unacceptable. I cannot recommend staying here until serious improvements are made.

Birthday weekend was success. The host was great. The lights and TV were on when we got there. The hot tub was fired up. The creek is the cutest. Helen and other towns were great. The pool table was a hit and vintage video games were retro. Would stay there again. Just know the road is a bit tricky for low cars. 2 way up. Thank you for a great stay.

We had a great time at the Wooded wonder property. The hot tub was ready to go. It was great waking up and having my coffee looking out at the beautiful scenery. The cabin was well kept and smelled great.

Property was beautiful! House was nice as well. Only issue was that the bodywash in the shower was empty so we had to go to the store to buy some and one bed pillow case was all ripped up. Minor things by far. Enjoyed the house and property!

Horrifying stay

Our experience at this Vacasa rental was distressing. Despite receiving multiple updates from the company prior to check-in, they failed to inform us that the cabin had no power. While I understand that Georgia had recently experienced a hurricane, a warning about the power outage would have been appreciated. Upon arrival, we contacted an agent who told us there was nothing they could do. It Stranded in the woods with seven people, finding alternative accommodations was challenging. After a long wait, we were informed we couldn’t stay overnight due to liability issues. This situation was poorly managed, showing a lack of concern for guest safety over profit.

Excellent Family Trip to Helen

I brought my wife, mother in law and dogs to this cabin for a getaway to go see Helen for the first time. The cabin was amazing and had everything that we needed. It is quiet and peaceful out there with plenty to explore. There is even a small trail that runs behind all the cabins along the creek that we took our dogs to check. Would gladly bring the family back and stay here again.

Nice, but could have been better

This cabin was in a pretty, wooded location. It was as not the cleanest of rentals. The floor wasn’t swept well and there were cobwebs in some parts. The sheets on the main bed were pilled and stained and should be replaced. The foosball table was broken in several places and barely usable. If you intend to play, bring some super glue to fix the pieces that have come loose. There is no streaming service or cable available. You have to bring your own streaming service and sign in. This is the first vacation rental I have been to that didn’t provide at least one streaming service. Lastly, we did not use the bottom patio sitting area because there was a camera down there. I understand why there was one on the front door, but didn’t like having one out back. It felt like an intrusion of privacy. The management company responded to texts very quickly. We pointed out a couple of issues, and they did give us a small refund since they couldn’t address them while we were there. Also check in/out was really easy.

Nice place

We really enjoyed the place. There wasn't anything that we really didn't like. We were a little disappointed that the jacuzzi bathtubs jets didn't work but not a big deal. Loved the huge walk-in shower and the large closets. This place had everything we needed. The creek was enjoyable for the 2 grandchildren. I would definitely recommend.

Wooded wonder

The granddaughters loved the outdoors. They played in the creek and enjoyed seeing the deer every day. Used the fire pit every night for s’mores.

Amazing weekend

Thank you so much for a truly amazing weekend. The location is peaceful and beautiful. House was clean and had everything we needed. Close distance to Helen and Tantrum Brewery had great beers on tap!! We will be back.
