We loved staying in the Cozy Lakewood Retreat! It was very clean and decorated tastefully. We had everything we needed during our stay. We enjoyed walking to local shops and restaurants. The host was very communicative. It was an incredibly pleasant experience. We hope to be back!

Highly recommend this beautiful home

We stayed here for two nights. We couldn’t have been happier one of the first things. My husband said was “I would come back here.” we have family in Cleveland so we travel there at least once a year. We would definitely look at this property again.

Lakewood OH Visit - May 2025

This is a very nicely updated two bedroom house. If you are visiting Lakewood, OH and need a place to stay, this is it. We enjoyed the location, the cleanliness, the amenities and the excellent communication with the owner. The garage has been converted to a couple of workstations which is nice if you need to work during your stay. The home is well maintained. We stayed 5 nights. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Lakewood.

Everything we could hope for!

It's rare to find a Lakewood home that has a king size bed, a large bathroom, a fully modern kitchen, a fast internet, space to work and to relax--the specific items we hope for when staying somewhere for several days. This home was truly perfect--and the festive decorations were an added bonus. We were minutes from old friends and gathering places as we returned to our old hometown.

Cozy and comfortable

The house was perfect for our family of 3 - husband, myself, and our 5 month old. As a heads up to young families, the bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs. Bed and couch/chairs were very comfortable, great little backyard to hang out while the little one was napping. Location was exactly what we wanted - parks and restaurants nearby and an easy 15 minute drive to downtown.

Great little house!

This is a great little house in a super cute neighborhood. We came to CLE to ride bikes at Rays Indoor Bike Park (and around the great trail system, but it rained the whole time) and visit the football HOF and this house was a great home base. Plenty of food nearby, good space to walk the dog, comfy beds, the kitchen had everything we needed. Things you should know - the driveway is super narrow (which is typical of old houses!). We drive a minivan and found backing in was the way to get unloaded since there’s not much clearance between the car and the house/fence. The one bathroom is upstairs. Not a dealbreaker, but always good to know. We’d stay again if we’re ever in the area in the future.

Perfect location and accommodation

My family stayed for an extended weekend to celebrate a family milestone. We found the property clean, easy access to various local interests and well equipped. Having grown up in Lakewood, it was nice to get several awesome recommendations from owner on new venues in the area to enjoy. We have already booked our next trip.

Nice Ten Day Stay

Very comfortable house and perfect location for the near west side of Cleveland as well as downtown and Tremont. The home is well stocked and easy to get used to, whether just getting ready to go out to dinner, cooking dinner "at home", and then catching a movie on your choice of streaming services. Our host was excellent with his speed of response to inquiries as well as his willingness to accommodate any special requests we had. We highly recommend!

Cute and comfortable

Perfect for our stay. Well decorated and kitchen was very well stocked. Upstairs gets a little cold in the winter but the beds are extremely comfortable, you won’t want to get out of them! All in all was perfect for a 3 night stay in the Cleveland area.

Comfortable and relaxing stay

I grew up in Lakewood and still have family in the neighborhood. Several family members were coming into town so we needed a place to stay. This house was perfect location, cozy and comfortable. There was even a Christmas tree there. I will be back in the summer and plan on staying at this same location. It was wonderful.

Great house and location

This Lakewood house has everything you need for your stay. We cooked a lot and it was easy to do in the great kitchen. Comfort inside and out. Easy access to parks, restaurants and highways. We were not let down.

Love Lakewood

I love the city of lakewood.. lived there years ago. Was a tight street..tough parking. very close neighbors. House was nice unfortunately just not very clean.
