The kitchen was so well-stocked with the basic seasonings and every pot, pan and utensil I needed. Being in the middle of town, on a quiet street, was just perfect. It was so convenient to have the little store across the street. The home was much more spacious than I had imagined. 5 out of 5 stars - I would definitely stay here again!

It had good accommodations for a comfortable and enjoyable visit to the Gorge but it has a serious plumbing problem in the bathroom that needs to be fixed.

Great location, convenient access to everything in the Columbia Gorge area. Easy walk to the restaurants in town. The place was very clean and exactly as described. Had all the supplies we needed to make several meals there.

Friend's trip

Three friends spent two days exploring the area in search of wildflowers. We had a great time at the container house, it was clean and comfortable, awesome location in town and great views! So many things to see around the area. We enjoyed walking to the coffee shop and brewery and ventured over to Thunder Island too.

Super cute double container home, had plenty of room. Originally booked for just me, but then my son and a bunch of his friend showed up. We were all accommoded dated fairly well. Great location right in the middle of Cascade locks within a 5 minute walk of several eating options, shopping, arcade, and many other things. Quite possibly the best spot in that little town.

Convenient getaway at great location

Storage container unit outside, relaxing home inside. The challenge was property manager was replacing the A/C unit the day we checked in. Workers didn’t finish and first night we relied on the failing A/C and two large fans to keep cool during the unusually hot 90 degree temps. Resolution: property manager was routinely communicating with us pointing out the fans and offering tips to cool the home until technicians came next day and completed the installation. The new unit cooled the home nicely. A funky smell lingered in the area near the A/C unit install. We loved the proximity to restaurants, coffee shop and access to trails. The view from the porch was beautiful.

This was my friend and my third time and it was less than perfect this time. There was inadequate instructions on how to use the keyless entry, just a pass code. Then the inside instructions said to use the key from the lock box the rest of the time. No code for the lock box. But the biggest issue was that it is suppose to be a pet free place and my friend immediately had a major allergic reaction the minute she sat on the couch, or the chair. Then the tv didn't work, just a sticky note on the remote saying"broken, sorry for the inconvenience". We will probably not return next year if we can't trust the no pets rule. Its too bad, because it is a perfect place for our week of crafting.

Cute place in a small town

Very impressed with this unit. It was modern and clean. Convenient for us as we did things in the area. Our first 1/2 of the trip revealed the beautiful scenery of the gorge. However, due to the wildfires, smoke had moved in and prevented us from seeing Mt. Hood, etc. Beautiful waterfalls in this area too.

One night stay

Overall, enjoyed staying here and will stay again. The booking was easy, the booker was accomidating to an early check in. The property was nice. The cleanliness wasn't excellent, it was good. The coffee pot had old moldy coffee left and the dishes weren't clean otherwise the house was very nice.
