Family ski break

Great location, great fireplace, comfortable beds and great kitchen; but note that you MUST bring your own firewood.

Lovely little house

We enjoyed our stay here minus the fact that the sheets on all beds were so scratchy and the pillows were hard. Would definitely stay here again if those were updated!

Perfect Tahoe Stay

This was a great spot for a week stay just my husband and our two small dogs. Certainly room for another couple. Cleanest VRBO hot tub ever! Comfy beds. Very well appointed kitchen. So nice to have washer/dryer especially for a week stay. Walkable to Garwoods for a cocktail! Host was great. We would stay again!

Wonderful location and beautiful home.

Perfect location and home for our family, will definitely stay again. Some inconvenience due to damage of the master shower by previous guest but we made it work.

Fabulous Gem

We had a wonderful stay. 2 nights wasn’t enough, we wished we could stay longer. We will definitely be back. Perfectly located, close to everything, yet private and quiet. Loved the kitchen, hot tub, record player, real fire place ( no wood, so we had to buy some and do yard cleanup of fallen sticks), board games and fabulous decks and BBQ. We never turned the tv on once ( and we have two younger kids) so we enjoyed family time together. Bed was too soft for my back issues, but my husband and kids slept like babies. It was very special for me to stay in a cabin just down the street from my family’s cabin we had in the family for over 40 years. It was like home away from home.

Nice quiet home away from home

Nice base for visiting the Tahoe area. House sits among trees with a deck for hanging out. Tennis courts next door a little noisy but not really a problem.

Awesome cabin and location

4 of us on a ski trip - great location - we hit Palisades, Alpine, Northstar, Sugar, Incline all with ease, plus great hiking locations on non-ski days, not far from XC ski area, walkable to small town center / coffee shop / lakefront/ marina. Short drive to good grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Loved the hot tub, wood burning fireplace, smart TV... VERY comfortable home amazingly well equipped. Responsive manager. 10 stars.

A Beautiful Winter Getaway

This place was everything we hoped for and more; the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, the fire place was roaring, and the hot tub under the stars remains undefeated. Ten stars, will be coming back!

Cozy place with nice neighbors

The overall stay was great. The house is cozy and had everything we needed. With the weather circumstances, we were a bit concern on how the check-out Policies would work and how we would be supported in case the conditions would be unsafe to leave. Would be nice to have a better understanding and communication to address these external circumstances. Thank you.

Great getaway!

We loved our stay at the Timberwood cabin! The location was perfect, and the cabin itself had everything you need. The kitchen was well-equipped and made meals easy. The fireplace, TV and assortment of games were perfect for a snowy long weekend. The hot tub was spotless and got a lot of use. Our two dogs loved it as well! We are super picky but would definitely return to this cabin

Great home close to lake

Spacious. Clean. Well equipped. Nice big deck nestled in the pines. Comfy beds and nicely remodeled bathrooms. Very pet friendly (although yard is not fenced in so if you bring your animals they likely need to be on a leash at all times). Warning though that with climate change and Tahoe temps in July hovering around 91-92 (heat of the day), the cabin heats up by afternoon like a sauna (95 inside) and no amount of door/window openings/cross ventilation will cool it down even late into the night. Fans provided helped a small amount but the heat makes it uncomfortable to sleep even after the outside temps drop into the 60’s. We spent a lot of time on the deck which is great but it gets hot in the sun out there by about 1-2pm. I’m sure this is a nice feature in the winter or more cooler temps but sadly not in mid July. With global warming, it might be worth considering a wall unit AC. Would def stay here again as the cabin is great but maybe not in July.

Great stay! Almost inclined to tell you not to stay, so i can go back :)

Spent 10 days at the property with my doggo and girlfriend. Some family came in over the weekend and we had a great time hot tubbing, cooking, and cozy boardgames by the fire!
