Casual, comfortable & well appointed cabin. Very clean & organized with everything one might need. I came alone & yet it would be great for two couples or a family. Morning coffee in front of the fire & evenings on the wide veranda. Absolutely lovely— I liked it so much, I hope to return!

Welcoming, Cozy Home in Marble
We traveled to Colorado to visit our adult son, who works in nearby Aspen. He suggested the Crystal River valley, and we found this beautiful home. Since we were planning on cooking all our meals in, the description of the kitchen was a plus - and it met expectations, fully stocked with all the tools we needed, plus basic ingredients like olive oil that we didn't have to purchase separately.
The main floor space has several cozy nooks for reading, relaxing, playing games, etc. We enjoyed the yoga/meditation room in the morning especially for its views of the mountains. The huge front porch with loungers is also a great spot for the view, just a little cold this time of year. However, there are multiple throw blankets provided, so we still managed to enjoy it.
The 2 bedrooms with king beds were very comfortable, with quality linens and thoughtful details like wireless phone chargers next to the bed. Note that the only bathroom is upstairs - which was only an issue for us after a long hike which left us all with very sore muscles.
Amber, one of the owners, was fantastic with communication - she sent reminders ahead of time about the need to get supplies in Carbondale before arriving, as well as the wifi codes to ensure we could get it, as there is no cell service. She quickly responded to any questions we had as well.
We did the hike to Crystal Mill - stunning views the whole way, well worth the challenging 9 miles. Overall, such a beautiful place for a fall getaway.

A Hone Away from Home
Although this home is remote and we did not have cell service, it provides all modern conveniences; internet, satellite television, Wi-Fi, phone charging station and cell charging pads by the beds. The home was exceptionally clean and the kitchen was fully equipped. We did not have to worry on finding a wine bottle opener for the yummy wine we got in Paonia. A location for the outdoors person, antique collector, nature lover and explorer.

Beautiful home in a magical town
One of the best appointed and supplied temp rentals we've stayed at -- ever! This is a new place. They deserve to succeed! Lovely art on the walls; excellent supplies & kitchen equipment (above and beyond! -- even sharp knives); wide/deep comfortable porch with awesome mountain views with great light both AM and PM; very clear guidance and instructions, and great communication while there. (We locked ourselves out -- in the evening! -- and our guest contact, owner Amber, replied to our frantic text within moments with a perfect solution -- which I won't describe here.) No cell service in town, but excellent Wifi on the property. (Didn't bother with the nicely set up "smart TV" room.) The town of Marble truly is magical, with a very mellow vibe: if you are there mid-summer, see if the Marble Symposium is in town -- where 25-45 marble sculptors from all over work outside under tents (about half a mile away) -- on marble mostly donated by the local quarry -- & are happy to have folks wander thru and talk about what they're doing. Visit Redstone (great Detroit pizza at Propaganda Pie), and by all means go to Slow Groovin BBQ in Marble (the only restaurant in town), where you'll have the best cornbread in the world. Glenwood Springs is an hour away if you're interested, but don't bother with Aspen. If the crowds & glitz etc. of the I-70 corridor and certain other Colorado spots are not your thing, try this -- quiet, casual, remote. We'll be back.
