The property manager set the code to expire eleven hours before check out resulting in us being locked out of the unit for an hour and a half the morning of check out. When we finally found an employee on the property who spoke English who finally got ahold of the manager, the manager was very apologetic. Yet when we asked him to reimburse us the $20 we gave to each of the two gentlemen who spent over an hour helping us get into the unit, we got no response.
The unit is close to the beach which uses a resort access with limited hours. The entire area is dirty and under construction. The unit reeked of cigarette smoke, most likely seeping in from workers outside. We had no bath mat, hand towels or washcloths. There was a half of Diet Coke in the refrigerator upon arrival. We won’t be back
