Time for a Re-fresh!

Great location. Very fully stock kitchen. Nice beds and baths. Kids enjoyed the hot tub. Lots of options on the TV. Pool table had no chalk or usable pool cues and was just an ornament. Oven did not work. Could use a re-fresh to become a very nice place.

The home was nice. Rooms were large. Ourcmain problem was that the listing stated the shuttle pickup was just out side your door. I checked with the company b4 booking because shuttle service is very important to us and they verified it was steps from the front door. Well not only was it not at front door but it isnt even within walking distance. This put us in a bad situation all week.

Just absolutely fantastic house

Absolutely loved the house, location is perfect to town, house has everything you need, just beautiful, we used the hot tub every day after skiing. We would definitely stay here again, AvantStay is so easy to work with and help you enjoy your stay.

Magical Views

The views from the house were spectacular! There were eight of us and we were all accommodated perfectly, with room to spare! The pool table was a source of fun and bonding. We saw a fox and two moose in the front yard one night - so cool!

30+ Years Renting Vacation Homes in Colorado

This was a great family vacation home. 3rd time in the Breckenridge area. There were 9 of us, ages 15 to 68. Usually, we stay more in a secluded mountain setting. However, with 3 vehicles and the time of year (snow/ice possibility), we chose to be closer to town. Still, this had a remote feeling, as the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Well done, VRBO and AVANTSTAY!!

Great Family spot

This is our second time staying at this home. It's relaxed and comfortable. We love that there's directions and the ability to choose your checkout time. Its affordable and plenty if space for two individual families to stay and be comfortable.

Gorgeous Home & Layout

We stayed at this property for a long weekend away with two families. We were really impressed with the layout, proximity to town, and the amenities. The home was spacious and allowed plenty of space for each family. The hot tub was well maintained, and the landscaping was beautiful (fall colors!), The kitchen was well stocked and two large tables provided plenty of seating options. The bedrooms were large and 3 of them had attached bathrooms. We appreciated the two primary bedrooms with king beds. The neighborhood was overall quiet (first night the house next door had a couple of loud guys who were having a bachelor party we assumed also a rental, wasn't an issue the other two nights). The only small complaint we had was that a few of the furnishings / finishes could be updated. The flooring seems to have some pas water damage and wear. The walls and trim had several scrapes. The windows in the bathroom also had some past condensation/water issues. Overall, though this is minor and didn't affect our stay at all. We really enjoyed our time staying at this property and would love to stay here again!

Family reunion

It was not like pictures on VRBO. BUNK beds mattress were terrible 2 guests went to hotel because of mattress. The floors on main floor are terrible condition covered with throw rugs.

Don't recommend

The place is in a great location, but lots of things need attention there, windows, carpet, floors, etc are in poor condition. Carpet had stains when we got there, and then they are saying it was our fault and changing me for crap that was already there. My fault for not taking pictures when we arrived and letting the property manager know, but I feel like we were the scape goat for getting a special carpet cleaning done in the house when it was crappy before we even arrived. The kitchen was ok, but missing some thing we needed for some food prep and storage, etc. The Grill was very dirty when we went to grill some burgers, the pool table is ok, but really not level so don't expect to have a serious pool game. I will say the beds seemed comfortable and clean, so that was a positive.

Beautiful location and scenery, house not what pictures reflected

We chose this house as my daughter’s senior family vacation before she moves to college and she chose the mountains. She chose the house herself via VRBO and we booked it based on the beautiful scenery and location and size. The house was not what the pictures reflected. it was in poor condition, used and abused by all the previous renters and not kept up. Cleaning surface was also subparcobwebs.

This home is beautiful and well-equipped. The dishwasher was broken so we had to wash dishes by hand, boo! But they kindly extended our check-out time because of it. The caretaker was very responsive when I reached out. I would love to return!

Stay at Buffalo

We love the Highlands neighborhood and location and have stayed in other homes in this neighborhood. This home was lovely but has several things that need to be addressed by the home owner. The AvantStay team had a great welcome package and made the rental experience very smooth.

Amazing stay

The property was incredible, we ended up needing to change locations because of a problem with the original location. But the new location was even better- the whole process was so easy and they welcomed us with a bottle of wine and a happy anniversary card! would stay there again or recommend someone staying there

NIGHTMARE - avoid AvantStay

Worst VRBO experience we've ever had. The first night of our stay there was an ethylene glycol (anti-freeze for boiler) leak - when the fire department and utility company arrived they found additional natural gas leaks in the crawl spaces and fireplaces (where our children were sleeping!). The local team did their best to assist us but the parent company (based in LA) refused to help us find a new space for the duration of our trip. Even with a dangerous emergency situation we had to pay out of pocket, last minute rates to relocation. Absolutely dismal customer service. Avoid any and all AvantStay properties.

Dangerous conditions especially for kids

Loved almost everything about the house. Big exception was the steel cable on the stairs and railings with frayed ends left out to stick, scratch and cut anyone who reached out towards the cable. I am surprised that no one has reported this problem before. We weren't in the house 15 minutes and one of my grandsons cut themselves. This should be fixed before any more occupants. 7/15/23. Also the house was missing a number of window screens. Makes it hard to keep the bugs out if you open the windows to catch a breeze. And you have to open windows because no AC. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms would have been a big plus.

The house was an amazing floor plan, well equipped and the location was perfect for our trip. Management quickly fixed a problem we had with the disposal in one kitchen sink but when I asked them to service the hot tub for our last day because the the water was green they said someone would take care of it but nobody ever showed up. My group was very disappointed that they could not enjoy the hot tub the last day and evening. Also we found the carpet was well worn and should be replaced. One of the upstairs bedrooms did not have screens on the windows and in the mountains in the summer it is nice to open the windows to cool things off at night. Screens would have been nice. None of these ruined our trip but would concern me if I wanted to book another property from Avant Stay. Overall we still loved the house.
