The stay wound up being good. However there were a number of issues with the unit itself, albeit quickly addressed by the property manager, in a manner that exceeded expectations. That being said, for our family it was not the best experience overall. We have been to the Montage a number of times, including renting a home directly from the resort. We hence expected all the same amenities we are used to during prior trips. The VRBO rentals do not allow access to certain areas of the resort, and they make you pay a resort fee and make booking anything very inconvenient. The concierge service the property manager provided is decent but take a lot of work on the part of the guest. Most particularly the Moreland areas were all pretty much off limits, and that’s the most fun part of the resort during evenings, where they have bowling and other games, and a terrific restaurant. None of that is available to VRBO guests, and we could only use one pool while there (the most crowded one, of course) It was not the best choice for our family and we will be going back to booking everything they Montage in the future.

Spring break

Great house for kids with bunk room. We had grandparents space as well. One issue considering our littles was no bathtub, but the bathrooms were all great nonetheless. Screen porch for those buggy evening would make this a 5 star though. Great stay and very clean and functional.

Amazing experience!

This property was beautiful and so clean. They had everything you would need for your stay. Jeff and Annette were so helpful and responsive. And palmetto bluff is the prettiest place we have ever visited.

A Slice of Paradise

One word: wonderful. Park your car and leave the keys in a drawer - walk bike or golf cart everywhere. The property management is excellent and almost instantaneously responsive. The property is a slice of paradise.

Nice home in Wilson Village

Great property very well located in the Wilson Village. Easy access to bikes and several food options as well as RTs market and canoe club pool. The home is very clean and comfortable. Look forward to a return trip and staying here again.
