Everything was perfect. Nice place 15 minutes from downtown. We will stay there again. Big area for dog to play no fence but really nice for her.

Cozy and Caring

Christine greeted us warmly at the door.We had our small dog with us, who was suffering with severe allergies amongst other ailments.She put out her dog bowls for food and water and said she would listen for her while we were out.Very comfortable , quiet , clean, and convenient.

Visit family who opened a business

I have never stayed in a more stocked and well furnished efficiency apt including a Marriott or Hilton property. My wife and I stayed here for two nights as my son and his wife were opening a business in a downtown location. Their home was only one street over, a convenient location. I give 5 starts to the owner for opening up her home and keeping it so I would return again. Thanks for the large muffins and a stocked frig. It’s a plus plus location.

Very clean home. Very nice host.

Very clean. Had a ton of toiletries. Very nice host. Clean sheets and towels. Very sweet to offer dog treats and a doggie dish. The vrbo is next to a street so if you have a dog, keep it on a leash or perhaps the yard could have a fenced in area for the guests in the future. The vrbo is connected to the owner's house. Overall, very happy and would stay there again.

Never Disappoints

Our third stay with Christine and once again her little “Wren’s Nest” did not disappoint. She makes sure that you have everything that you could possibly need. Very quiet other than a crowing rooster and assorted woodpeckers, squirrels and rabbits.

Dog friendly. Adorable place.

Christine and Mike have created a very sweet little place outside of Beaufort, very accommodating with everything we needed for our few days there. Freshly made choc chip muffins for breakfast, plenty of coffee, ice machine, were some of the extras. Altho it was a bit of a drive back to town for dinner in Beaufort, we discovered there was a Golf course Bar and Grill very close by for a great local hangout….I have an eclectic collection of Bird art in my own house and this place made me feel very much at home with the birds ☺️

The Bird’s Nest

We had an amazing stay @ The Bird’s Nest. Christine is an amazing host. The property is even nicer than the pictures. Impeccably clean, attention to detail… yogurts, coffee, chilled waters. Comfortable bed! Great location. We only wish we were staying longer. I highly recommend this property.

Cute Birdhouse

AWESOME HOST!

Rental is extremely clean, well cared-for and managed by onsite property owner. Pictures are accurate, if not underwhelming, when compared to actuality. Host went out of her way to be communicative and helpful prior to check-in, making the process easy-peasy, yet she was very respectful of our privacy. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with fresh flowers, fresh-baked muffins, water and yogurt in the fridge, and everything needed for a cup of coffee or tea. Downtown Beaufort is a simple 15-minute drive, but you return to a nice quiet spot for rest and relaxation. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to check out a little late and the owner could not have been more gracious and accommodating. My only regret is I had business to tend to, was busy both days, and only got to stay one night. I WILL return to The Bird’s Nest!!!

Second visit…same result

This was our second stay with Christine and nothing has changed-just excellent. It’s not large, but it is the perfect size for us two and our two miniature poodles. The location is quiet, yet convenient to Beaufort and Hunting Island. Christine is there if you need her, but she allows complete privacy. A Publix is near, but she has provided all that you need. Highly recommend

Perfect pit stop for the night on our way home.

A perfect little spot to rest for the night. Incredibly clean and quaint. A muffin and yogurt before the road was a really thoughtful touch. We couldn't have asked for a better host.

Outstanding accommodation!

The cottage is tucked away off main road. It is really peaceful. Christine, our hostess, was very helpful and friendly. We felt very much at home. The cottage is extremely clean, most comfortable bed and a restful, quiet atmosphere. We loved it.
