Second time staying at this property. Excellent location if you plan on walking around Bardstown. Every detail is exceptional. Perfect place to sip bourbon and relax in between tour stops.

We had a great weekend stay at The Bard House! Our host was great with communication and recommendations for downtown Bardstown. The house was one of the best Vrbo’s we have stayed at! It was clean, had everything we could need, and location was spectacular for our planned activities!

The Bards House was the perfect family getaway it had plenty of room for everyone to hang out and it was super close to all the distilleries in the area! It was clean and super fun!

What a wonderful place - clean, well stocked, perfect location for the bourbon trail and easy walk to the shops and restaurants downtown. Bathroom in the downstairs bedroom was beautiful. Mattress was sooo comfortable. Worth every penny.

Bardstown bourbon trip

Absolutely amazing home in Bardstown! Walking distance to the lovely downtown with restaurants and bars and right in the middle of our Maker’s Mark/Willett/Jim Beam bourbon tours. Plenty of room and great amenities. We loved it!

Our experience was AMAZING! I cannot say enough about the amenities that the house contained. It was everything we could have wanted!! The house is historic and beautiful in a fantastic location. There were sodas, water and snacks for our arrival. We loved the bourbon themed chairs. The indoor shuffleboard, dartboard and 33 record player was such a special touch. Any communication was quick and clear. HIGHLY recommend!!

Really Enjoyable Stay

Our group of bourbon enthusiasts really enjoyed our stay at The Bard House. The home was very clean upon arrival and was a perfect landing spot for us as we visited several stops on the trail. We enjoyed grilling out one night and enjoying the fire pit. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Bourbon Thanksgiving!

The Bard House was the perfect place for our family to enjoy a relaxing Thanksgiving together! Every room was well appointed and so cozy. We loved the short walk into town to shops and restaurants, we even got to enjoy the Bardstown Christmas tree lighting - felt like we were in a Hallmark movie! Highly recommend staying at the Bard House!

Great Girls Trip

Had the opportunity to stay at The Bard House for a long girls trip. We enjoyed the amenities at the house, along with all of the places to hang. Super clean and overall very comfortable. We would stay again! Highly recommend for a great time visitingBardstown and all the area has to offer!

Great property. Next level attention to detail throughout the property. Ideal for 2-3 couples. Convenient to downtown area of Bardstown. Close to several must visit distilleries. Host has thought of pretty much everything to enhance stay.

Great stay, perfect location

We had a great stay at the Bard House! It’s adorable, very well decorated, and within walking distance of restaurants, bars, and shopping. It is extremely well-appointed and thoughtfully organized (and labeled!), and you will definitely have everything you need. The snacks and drinks were a nice touch, and it was perfectly clean. Host was prompt and great with communication. Would definitely stay again!
