We paid a premium price for this condo, trusting that the 9.8 overall rating and description were accurate. Unfortunately, the property didn’t meet expectations. The condo showed clear signs of wear — a loose kitchen cabinet door, a non-working bathroom faucet, and an older shower in need of maintenance. The furnishings felt modest and not at the “five-star” level described, and even the golf cart included with the unit was old with worn brakes.At half the price, this might have been acceptable, but at the rate we paid it was disappointing. I don’t enjoy leaving negative feedback, but I hope this helps the host make improvements and helps future guests make informed decisions.

A 10 star property

We’ve stayed in Hamilton Cove for close to a decade in many different rentals & this one is my favorite! It was easy to access the unit from the main gate & building stairs. Upon arrival, it was sparkling clean. The ocean view was unmatched & perfect for morning coffee at the outside table for 2. The owner & location manager were very accessible for any questions. It’s perfect for a couple wanting to relax & have quiet & privacy.

I brought my son and his buddy over to celebrate his 18th birthday. Overall, I would book here again for future trips without hesitation. The furnishings and unit are a bit more dated than the pictures let on. Things like the cleaning and hygiene products provided could be slightly higher quality. Previous guests could certainly use lessons in dish washing. But ALL of that can be easily overlooked. The view is breathtaking. The proximity of the pool and beach was great. Guests in other units were quiet and respectful. Overall it was a great experience.

Sweet 16 weekend for our daughter

Gorgeous, beautiful, perfect!! We watched dolphins and seals play all day long from our balcony and had so much fun riding the golf cart to town for tours, shopping and dinners. Can’t wait to come back!!!

Wow… that’s all

This is the perfect place to stay on Catalina. Away from the excitement of town, all you can hear are the seagulls and the waves crashing. The balcony views are breathtaking, and the binoculars provided helped us watch the dolphins and sea lions out in the water. I can’t say enough about how gorgeous the place is inside and out.

A lovely condo out of the hustle and bustle of downtown Avalon.

This property is everything you could want. Tiffany was easy to communicate with and the property manager was readily available. As we were heading over on the ferry we received a message that there was a mechanical issue with the golf cart so a replacement had been obtained for our use. This extra effort really meant a lot to us as we were in town for a wedding and had to go back and forth for different events several times a day. The condo upstairs from our unit was under construction so it was noisy but as we were in and out it only a minor inconvenience. The only reason I gave a four star rating for cleanliness is because there were loads of ants wandering around the bathroom, kitchen, and dining area. We did keep them at bay using the Raid provided in the unit but it was a little inconvenient. The ants might have been there because they were disturbed by all the construction or because it was so hot outside! We did not contact the manager about the ants so I’m sure she would have sent someone out to do something but we were having too much fun with the wedding festivities to bother. I’m sure the construction is completed by now and you would really enjoy staying at this fabulous property if you have the chance.

24 year anniversary getaway

Newly-remodeled cozy 1 bedroom w/ awesome views of Hamilton Cove, the provided 6seater powerful golf cart allowed us to get to town in a convenient manner. Only recommendation would be to attach the headboard to the bed frame to minimize the rattling noises that ensue. .Other than that, it hit all our sweet spots.

Anniversary trip

I cannot say enough about our stay and experience here and on the island. Our accommodations were beyond our expectations. It was very cozy, clean and the views were spectacular. Having the golf cart was also icing on the cake. We were able to get into the town of Avalon and experience all of the shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again. The host was very responsive to any questions we had.

My wife and I have stayed at several local hotels; all good some better than others. This property was well above the others in terms of exclusivity, safety and quietness. Communication with the owners and property management was easy and extremely timely. The view from Hamilton cove is amazing!
