Secluded peaceful relaxing

Cabin was very clean and it was so peaceful. We could hear the wind in the trees! We played games and talked in the game room and enjoyed meals in the nice kitchen. It is a long narrow drive up so have what you need before turning in for the night. Check out whistle stop market nearby for fresh veggies and cakes, etc. nice porch and yard … view of mountains was beautiful.

Artsy and Cozy Cabin

Great little cabin that has been very tastefully renovated- modern and cozy. Super clean and well stocked with everything that you need for a short or long stay. Internet was seamless and fast.

Lovely art fill home

This home is really really lovely and the photos don't do it justice. It's filled with gorgeous art and vintage furnishings, it feels bigger when you are inside, and just has a great feeling overall to it. It felt like staying at a retired college art professors home, it felt as though a lifetime had been spent carefully aquiring and caring for the things inside. Lots of gorgeous details. It was also lovely in all the normal ways, clean, accessible, well stocked with essential and dishes and those types of things. A little side yard that I can imagine is gorgeous in the summer. Dreamy porch and the local caretaker reached out and was also so so nice! We saw some deer and enjoyed the adorable local downtown. We really enjoyed our stay!!!

Everything was as advertised and we enjoyed our stay.

Location was perfect for us. We spent most of our time sightseeing and viewing the many waterfalls. The road going up to the property can be difficult especially at night.

Anniversary & MTB Getaway

This home was great. Pictures are spot on. Very clean! All basic amenities are provided. We came into town to bike in Pisgah and have some time away from the crowds. This property was perfect. About a 15-20 minute drive into Brevard. It was very quiet. We enjoyed relaxing on the screened in porch and deck.

Quiet Mountain Escape

The Slick Rock Community is a very quiet and delightful mountain escape. This cabin in particular is well equipped, up to date, true to the description, very comfortable, and filled with beautiful artwork. We thoroughly enjoyed many peaceful days here and look forward to our return.

A lovely trip

This lovely home provided a great respite for us. Everything was spotless and the whole experience was wonderful. When we weren’t hiking, we spent a lot of time on the deck with a beautiful view. The kitchen was well appointed and allowed us to do a lot of cooking. The surrounding neighborhood was very quiet and met our expectations for privacy and solitude. Thanks to the gracious owners for sharing their little piece of mountain bliss.

Better than Expectations

Couldn’t have gone any better. Donna was always available when we needed information or advice And the property delivered! Beautiful Stunning Views. Quiet and totally private! The property was well appointed for cooking and relaxing. Even though The digital technology was current. We found it easy to put it on the back shelf! (Ok a tiny bit of Netflix and a quick check of email every so often) Great experience! We will certainly return!

Very clean, newly remodeled property. Well stocked, good view! Only negative was the single lane road going in/out...but it is paved all the way to the house.

Newly Renovated with Views

Perfect house for my sisters and nieces, we really enjoyed our stay. Nice new kitchen for dinners in and hanging out in the evenings. The third bedroom is an open loft style bedroom with steep stairs, something to consider. The "property supers" were very helpful and had the house ready and clean on arrival. Evolve was not responsive and this being my first experience with them as the reservation managers, I was not impressed. Overall, a senic and quiet neighborhood.
