Loved our stay here John was so easy to work with and communication was GREAT! Great property and close to everything we enjoyed. Beautiful memories were made here and we cannot wait to come back. Beach Bums rental was seriously right down the street which made it so easy to grab our golf cart to get around the Island.

Wonderful Stay in Anna Maria Island

We absolutely loved our stay at Tarpon Point. The home was exceptionally clean when we arrived and we loved the wonderful layout of the home and great pool for our family. John helped to make sure we had a pack 'n play that was available for our stay. Great location to walk to the beach and Pine Ave. Highly recommend renting a golf cart to explore the island and especially for parking closer to Bean Point Beach! Would love to stay here again for any future trips to Anna Maria Island!

Amazing vacation at Tarpon Point

We stayed at Tarpon Point for the 2nd year in a row, from 3/8-3/15/25. We were thrilled to see the island vibrant and quickly recovering from the devastating hurricanes (Helene and Milton). We noticed immediately the amount of landscaping that was unfortunately lost at Tarpon Point compared to last year's stay, but the backyard was still VERY private. The owner was very quick to respond to our questions. This property is absolutely PERFECT! From the walkability to the beach, shopping, and restaurants to the amazing backyard oasis. These homeowners have gone above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay for guests. They provide starter items such as hand soap, bar soap, shampoo/conditioner in the bathrooms as well as dish soap, paper towel, and garbage bags in the kitchen. It is so nice to arrive and not feel the need to rush to the grocery store for hygiene items immediately upon check-in, but can instead enjoy the daylight and delay the store run for groceries and supplies when ready. Additionally they provide bicycles, beach wagon, cooler, beach chairs and toys. We have stayed at other VRBO properties both in Michigan (where we live) and in Florida and this is by far the BEST! Even better, we feel it is priced just right for what you are getting!! The ONLY drawback is that the property is only for 6 people and since we are a family of 5, we have no way to invite family/friends to j

Great location and the BEST pool!

We loved Tarpon Point! The house was very clean and well-maintained, the kitchen was stocked with salt/pepper, sugar, oil, ziploc bags, etc., and the location is perfect—two blocks from the General Store and Dips, 3 blocks from Ginny’s and Jane E’s, and of course really conveniently located for beach access.The thing we loved the most, though, was the pool setup. We thought it was perfect! It was HUGE, and has a very big hot tub! And the ping pong table and bar area right next to the pool were awesome. All in all, we loved our stay at Tarpon Point and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great rental on AMI.

Wonderful!

This house had it all -- huge pool with outdoor lounging area. Plenty of sunny areas for me, plenty of shaded areas for kids. Also the house was well stocked and in a great location. We could walk to the coffee shop, stores, and of course, to the beach.We would definitely stay again!

Safe house with the most amazing pool!

So we ended up arriving to the house right before a tropical storm hit, when things started flooding we got a bit worried but what a safe house this is! I think it's important to mention that it sits up higher, water never went past the very beginning of the driveway even when the road right near us was completely under water! There are hurricane shutters which are amazing and we saw no other houses that had them. My family and 3 kids all felt super safe in this house and even though our first few days were stay inside days, we were actually able to go out and swim in the pool which was an absolute lifesaver with 3 young kids who get bored easily. Even with the downpour of rain and insane wind we were able to enjoy the pool and spa. The homeowner was very responsive during our entire trip to some questions we had. The pool and spa alone though were 100% worth every single penny we paid to stay here. The location was just perfect! Very close walk to get ice cream, breakfast, delicious fried food at the pier, close to both bay side water and only slightly further to the gulf side. Both were walkable with kids under 11 and still only a short drive to many other beaches and to Bean Point Beach where we saw dolphins! Short drive to many food places and Publix. There really is nothing bad to say about the house or our stay. It wasn't the absolute cleanest when we got there however knowing we had 3 kids it didn't bother any of us, it wasn't dirty, you could just tell it had seen alo

Perfect house for the entire family

We had a fabulous week. The house was amazing and the pool hot tub, bar and ping pong table were even better. Perfect house to keep all ages entertained for hours. The beach was beautiful it was our first time here and we will be back for sure !!

Your own tropical oasis

I don’t have one negative thing to say about this property. The pool area is amazing. Easy to walk to get to the beach, the pier, shopping, and eating. The home is kept extremely clean. The owner is very responsive. The property had everything that you would need. We had an amazing time and didn’t want to leave.

FABULOUS TIME AT TARPON POINT!

Our family of 5 had a fabulous time at Tarpon Point! The house was absolutely perfect — exceptionally clean, well-decorated, gorgeous lay-out with lots of light, fully stoked kitchen, spot-on island location, and a pool/grotto to delight all the senses! Great vacation home with awesome location!

Great vacation home with awesome location. Just a wonderful house inside and out side. Everything you want to do is in walking distance. Just a few blocks to the bay or to the gulf. Many shops and restaurants are nearby within walking distance. I would highly recommend The Sandbar for dinner. Dips and Two Scoops ice cream are a must and just a couple blocks away. We walked to the beach every day. There were awesome sunrises on the Bayside and awesome sunsets on the Gulfside. The L-shaped pool is amazing. You have your choice of sun or shade. It wraps underneath the house to a bar which has a refrigerator and a big screen TV. The hot tub came in handy after doing lots of walking. The bicycles also came in handy for exploring the island. Thanks again for letting us stay at your beautiful home. We will definitely be back!

Great House, close to pine street

Just a 10 minute walk to the Gulf. Pool, hot tub and the amenities were awesome. Fully stocked kitchen. Would stay there again! 2 minute walk to Pine street where there is a general store, BBQ, Pizza and lots of Ice Cream to eat.

Great location and property.

Stayed here with family and it was wonderful. Great location located within 5-10 minute walk of the beach and shops/restaurants. The pool is amazing and we were in it continually. Last and maybe most important, the host was very responsive and helpful.

Paradise on Anna Maria

This fantastic house more than exceeded our expectations, especially with its L-shaped pool and adjacent spa, with bar, tv, and ping pong table. We had a hard time getting our grandchildren out of the pool and spa, as they spent hours going back and forth between the two. The open floor plan with kitchen, dining area, and family room were perfect for our family. Master bedroom with king bed, bathroom with large soaker tub and shower, was extremely comfortable. Bedroom two with two single beds was roomy. Bedroom three was a bit tight for our adult daughter and son-in-law, as queen bed is wedged into a small space, leaving no room for night stands. Despite this, there were no complaints about the overall experience. Owner John was extremely responsive and communicative, and sought to comply with any reasonable request. Great location: walkable to either the beach or the bay, and just two blocks to Pine Ave with its restaurants and shops (great ice cream at either Two Scoops or Dips). This is a terrific, must-book property!
