The apartment worked well for my colleague and me while we were at a conference in town. There is nothing fancy or unique, but it is clean. Worked well for two people on a budget. Not the worst but I would likely not stay here again.
Pros:
Owner is very responsive in the app. When we figured out that the heat wasn't working, he responded quickly and resolved the issue by nightfall. The kitchen is outdated, but it was nice to have a fully functioning kitchen to use during our stay. The bedding, towels, and overall space are clean. The check-in process is easy and contactless.
Cons:
Immediate neighborhood is sketchy. There are several people on drugs in the immediate vicinity, which made walking around uncomfortable, especially after someone accosted and shoved my coworker as we were walking down the street. The listing is outdated. Many of the amenities and decor are not there. The washer and dryer are in a closet full of stuff and inaccessible w/out contacting the manager a day beforehand to use them. There is no gaming system. The couch is incredibly uncomfortable, sagging, and lopsided. We ended up sitting around the table. Bedrooms do not have mirrors, and the light switch in the back bedroom is just a suggestion. It also does not seem like someone checks on the property before guests arrive. When we arrived, the gas was turned off (not any fault of the owner), apartment was freezing, and stove did not work. Bed is pretty uncomfortable. TV streaming was laggy.
