Not a good remodel

An old hotel with some remodeling but stopped much too short of fixing it up. The rooms open to the parking lot. Bed seemed to be new and was comfortable. we could see the light under the door from the adjoining room and hear their telephone conversation. There was mold around the tub and the door into the bathroom was torn up. If you have the finances to stay in a better place, I would.

The only things we liked were the Dove products and the bed. It was comfortable, but the sheets felt damp. The curtains were old and dirty and were torn. The tv remote battery cover would not stay on. It looked like it had been taped, but was no longer & the weather channel didn’t work. The walls need paint. The fabric chairs had tears in them. The ‘wooden’ furniture was in sad condition. The bathroom needs regrouting as it is rusty looking in places, and the tub drain was slow. This room might be considered a luxury room in a third world country. The breakfast was sad. We were there at 6:30 and the coffee in the pump dispenser was not hot. The options were paltry—cold sandwiches with a microwave, dry cereal, dry bread and bagels, pancakes to make if the cooker worked and cellophane wrapped mini donuts. Juices were good. We don’t think we’ll be staying at a Wyndam

Hotel was ok but very dated. It was clean but the AC never got cold, just really old. Floor unit with push buttons. The latch to secure the door was broken off. That gave us some pause. We wedged a chair under the door handle to be sure. I think it was fine for a late night stop over, the rate was low but not a destination hotel.

I did not stay here. I was booking a hotel in Bangor on Expedia. Somehow I needed up with this one, in another state. I feel like the booking process is as deceiving. For 15 min, I looked at Bangor then I somehow ended up with this?????! Non-refundable!!! I’m so angry!

Great price and desk personnel was folksy and excellent. Some gaps to consider - all of the soap and shampoo and condenser containers were empty, but we had brought our own for this contingency. Frig is in the cabinet as is the microwave. Also - the breakfast was a little lacking but you can figure out how to get a good morning snack with what is provided. Pool was being cleaned and was closed. They were working hard to clean it. Lots of towels which we much appreciated.

I messed up and made our stay one day early. it doesn't allow change or cancelation with refund but I was able to talk with the manager and he was very nice and accommodated us by letting us stay the day that we were trying to book it for. Other than the pool being down everything was great. He gave us a crib for the baby. Breakfast was included, and there was even a restaurant inside the hotel which was good food.

Stayed with 3 kids, small dog and spouse. Bed and room was clean over all. The room was very outdated. Trash around the parking lot from people hanging out outside. Had to call office for tv and ac not working properly upon arrival. Had to unplug microwave or fridge to plug in tv . Ac was on but was not blowing air. The room was hot for a while, it eventually started working after being unplugged and plugged a few times. The courtyard looked nice. Free breakfast was ok (ran out of everything within an hour or so), took awhile for food and breakfast area to be restocked. Should have someone tending to the area the entire time between the breakfast slot and another running the front desk. Overall, decent stay for 1 or 2 nights (did the job). Would not stay long term personally.
