Such a beautiful property. It was wonderful to sit inside and view the lake. Very quiet and such a pleasant place. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice clean home. The owners feedback and communication was definitely a 10

Convenient location

The house was conveniently located to the Advent Fieldhouse where we needed to be each day. The dining room was a perfect set up for dinners. The view of the lake is lovely and enjoyed watching the water ski performance. It would have been helpful to have more clear instructions on where to find the half bathroom (in the detached garage) for guests to use. But we enjoyed the property overall. The beds were very comfortable.

Overpriced and unsafe

The property needs fixing and renovation. It is run down and beat up. The kitchen is in rough shape. Most concerning, there is a key-coded door lock to access the upstairs bedroom. This is a safety hazard. What if children were in that upstairs bedroom and there was a fire? We inadvertently closed the door and weren't given the key code. We had to text the property manager to regain access to the space. Also, the property management fees (only shown once you are almost done with checkout) are absurd. The total cost was double the listed price after all the fees.

Christmas Vacation

The place was very clean! When we have stayed at a rental in the past, I tend to leave the place at least as clean as I found it, if not more so. In this case, it would have been difficult, as it was so incredibly clean! Using the access code to gain entry was very easy. The owner/manager was very accommodating: there was already a travel crib listed in the “Amenities” section, but I asked if possibly there might also be a high chair and/ or stroller. They said they would make one of each available, and there was indeed each of these items. As it turns out, my son, his wife, and 4 kids were not able to join us after all, so none of these items were needed, but we truly appreciated the accommodation! So, except for one night when my other son joined us, we had this huge house to ourselves. It really is an amazing space! If we’d had everyone we expected, it would have given plenty of space, as well as privacy, if needed. We had brought a small prelim Christmas tree, some decorations, etc. with us, but walked in and found the place beautifully decorated for Christmas! We were very pleasantly surprised! We did add some of our own decorations, but they were really not needed. The view was fantastic! One day, we got to watch the skiers, which was quite enjoyable. One day, we walked partway around the lake; there is a lot to be seen if you take a moment! All in all, although things did not turn out quite like we envisioned, we still had a wonderful time. Thank you so very much!

Fourth of July getaway!!

Let me start off by saying this place was more then we expected ! The property owner Kim was AMAZING when we first started our trip we were not sure on dates she was very patient with me on going back an fourth on what days I wanted, when we got to property I absolutely fell in love at the thought of the lake not being connected to the chains because we had lots of family staying here nothing got better then this house having its own private lake no boat traffic it was so peaceful an perfect. They had a ski show on Saturday was nice but the absolute best part of the stay was fireworks right in the back you could walk to the deck an watch the fireworks an the had such a great ski show plane show ect. Music food trucks it was truly Amazing my kids really did not want to leave they were also very helpful when we extended our stay one more day!! We loved this place an Hopefully they will welcome us back next year ! This Definitely a GEM !! Ps Great pots an pans you never find a rental with nice pans to cook but there’s were great!

Great view and convenient

The house had ample space to all be together in one room or find a quiet spot to rest alone. The view of the lake was relaxing and we even got to watch a skiing competition one morning. Great access to downtown, a playground and splash pad, just a short walk away. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. We had a great time!

This house fit our stay perfectly

We had a family trip (4 couples and an infant). This house was a perfect fit for us. The rooms are spacious and mostly spread apart. We felt like we had plenty of room for everything. The two separate living rooms were great space to spread out or be together. We were able to sit out on the dock as well, which was very nice. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils. We were able to cook a few meals during our stay. A month before our trip, I had arranged for a pack n play for our infant granddaughter, but upon arrival it was not in the house. After a quick email to Kim, one arrived promptly, and she followed up with to make sure we didn't need anything else. The only issue we had was not having enough trash bags or toilet paper. The listing said "a starter pack" of those items will be provided. I have found that "a starter pack" is different with each host. This host supplies one roll per bathroom, no extra. We did find an extra trash bag, but it did not fit the cans. It was annoying having to buy a pack of toilet paper with only a couple days left of the trip. All in all the stay was great! The street noise was loud but we are country folk who are use to quiet. The house is also located directly across from a hospital, so we heard plenty of sirens. But that is a trade off for being so close to city amenities. We would stay again if we are ever back in the area.

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

Gorgeous house and beautifully decorated!!!! We wanted a weekend getaway but didn't want to go far. This house is a gem!! Located on a small lake in Winter Haven, it has everything you could want. The only negative was that is located near the corner of a busy road so traffic noise was a little annoying. That would not deter me from staying again though. We had a great time!!

Rest & recharge

This was the perfect place to rest and recharge as a family. We had the best time. From enjoying coffee with the lake view to kayaking the lake with the kids. What a great trip!

Loving Lake Life!!

What a lovely stay and beautiful memories we made. This is a large house and the owners graciously allowed us to have our sons rehearsal dinner on wedding weekend. We had adult family members staying with us and there was so much room. The screened porch is just a lovely haven and difficult to even tell from the photos how beautiful it is. One side has a little secret garden and the remaining has a beautiful view of the lake. The property manager was helpful in so many ways helping to her even recommend the caterer for the party. Outdoor games like cornhole were provided as well as a foosball table. Can’t say enough for this experience. This is forever embedded in our memories. We are grateful.

Perfect spot for Weekend in Winter Haven

Property Management team was very communicative and proactive. The house was very clean and nice kitchen accessories. Multiple bedrooms and bathrooms to spread out. New dock on lake and fun back porch that was screened in. We were very happy with this choice!

Lake House "Vibe", easy living

We sold our lake house up north where our family had gathered since some were infants. We found this home gave us the great space, and gathering rooms yet place for retreat, that our large family was accustomed to. Convenient to local amenities too. Enjoyed local restaurants, Chain of lake boating, ski show, along with beach and fishing on both coasts!

A large spacious home, right on the lake. Beautiful views of Lake Silver and for us it’s location close to the Winter Haven Hospital was perfect. A perfect place for a large family visiting Legoland.

Perfect vacation home for large/multiple families

We had a great time on our stay. The house was big enough for our two families with kids without having to be on top of each other. The bedrooms are very spacious. The house was clean and well taken care of. Kim with itrips was very helpful and responsive and checked in to assure our needs were taken care of. We had a great stay overall.
