The only good thing was the food in their restaurant. My room was freezing, the TV didn't work, their wireless didn't work and housekeeping was awful. Would never go there again.

This is a old historical looking building in downtown. As soon as you walk in you have the feeling of how the old days in Tampa were. Beautiful woodwork and furnishings in the lobby, bar and restaurant areas. The room was nice size and the bedroom furnishings were all of heavy solid wood. It is priced lower than most downtown hotels and the location is great.

The lobby is really cool looking, and the hotel is really cool but it is very dated. The room was very nice. If you didn't hit the right spot in the shower there was a noise like the pipes were gonna blow, but was fine. But to pay $45 for valet parking (1 night), when I never saw a valet, parked my own car in a not so wonderful or safe looking parking lot. And there was nothing mentioned in my reservation about $45 for parking either.

The detail, charm and quality of this renovation is fantastic. I absolutely love the preservation and appreciation of these treasures. Unique style is so important in this day and age of cookie cutter mass marketed chains both in hotels and in restaurants. Individuality is also paramount in the service and passion of the staff. Good job!

Beautiful old ornate hotel . Need ice machines though .

I love the “vintage look and feel”. I would like to come back and enjoy the lounge..

Beautiful historic property. Rooms and facilities were very clean. The king beds weren't the most comfortable (we like a softer mattress) but it was fine for an evening. The Sapphire room and lobby bar were great for a couple drinks. The staff was outstanding.

The bar staff was excellent and the food was good. We had 3 burned out light bulbs, no coffee pot, no hair dryer, no ice bucket and only enough toilet paper for one use, with no spare. We were told, unapologetically, that the hotel was full and that they had been very busy. That may be so, but it should be housekeeping's responsibility to be sure that the room is checked upon cleaning. We were also told that had we called the desk, we would have gotten the missing items. Since we were not back until 11, we were a bit too tired to wait for items that should have been in the room when we arrived. Management??

The return to the original state of the hotel. The step back to hotels no cookie cutter layouts.

Poor light that I was transferred to another room. The room’s AC was unregulatable that for two nights I nearly caught cold but thanks to winter coat that was helpful.

Great Nostalgic hotel in the Heart of Tampa! Would definitely recommend.

Nice hotel very close to everything, the king size beds are to hard and very uncomfortable

We really enjoyed the beauty and elegance of this historic hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel is within walking distance from the arena and the Hall on Franklin. So many great things to see and do ... we'll be back.

They need to replace the AC units in the room. The front desk recognized the issue and said the same thing.

Hotel is a great historical place. Definitely worth seeing and touring. The rooms are updated. Need some help on the maintenance of the room. 18th floor doe not have hot water. Overall it was a good experience.

Front desk staff polite and welcoming. Room was clean. Drawbacks: not many channels on tv for kids and the reception of the tv wasn't the greatest. Wouldn't call it kid friendly (but my Littles loved the ceiling in the lobby) Thanks guys!

The hotel lobby is beautiful and I appreciate the aspect of wanting to preserve this building, however the room smelled like mold and NO hot water.
