Late check in for an overnight stop on road trip up the coast. Room was new and modern. I reserved a room with 2 queens but got 2 doubles instead but didn't see that as an option when booking. I'm almost 6 ft with a bad back and neck so sharing a double with my wife is not comfortable at all. Room was very clean including the bath. I thought the bath was large with plenty of room but there was only a shower in the corner. It seemed a little cramped and would not be as convenient as a tub/shower for a child. I was also traveling with my 10 yr old son.

I will search for other better options next time. The Inn is old and so are many features in the rooms, especially the heating system.

It is nice value to money and the hotel is clean.........................

I used to stay here all the time. It's under new management and has gone downhill. Dirty. Needs repair (there is actually packing styrofoam patching up the ceilings everywhere). I would no longer recommend. Doesn't appear new management is repairing or upkeeping the hotel. The location is good.

Nothing special about the Norwalk Inn. The walls are a little thin. Still it provided a safe place to stay the night, which is a good thing.

Would have been nice to know before booking that a (significant?) refurb is ongoing. Overall, not a bad stay: accommodated my request for extra pillows, staff pleasant, breakfast fare is good and reasonably priced, room size OK (w/2 Queen beds: occupants bump into each other) but I wouldn't put 4 adults in the room as the booking page suggests is possible/authorized unless absolutely necessary, and the flat screen TV (at least in the two rooms I had) is just slightly larger than a desktop computer screen.

The bed was very rough and squeaked. Absolutely pathetic Internet service. Had to return steak dinner, or best said "the cardboard." You either got really hot water in the basin, or totally cold. I wouldn't suggest anyone stay at this hotel unless it was your absolute only choice, and then I'd contemplate sleeping in your car!

Have stayed here 3 or 4 times before over long period. Keeps getting better. Grounds are improving. Staff accommodating. Just hate the horrific traffic on I-95 that keeps getting worse. Mainly since we had to attend functions in Old Greenwich daily.

Have stayed here at least 4 times over 15 years and I see constant improvement each time. Restaurant food is quite commendable too and within area pricing. Hotel pricing got us interested and we latched on. Worked well for 4 of us in one room.

Noisy hallway and could hear people in next room every time they used their bathroom. For the price of the room, the room was small

The staff was very pleasant. The room was clean. The hotel provided shuttle service to down town Norwalk which was wonderful. We were able to enjoy a nice dinner and some evening entertainment and not have to worry about driving.

Hotel was comfortable, nice location, very relaxing, amenities were good, staff were good, overall lovely experience

Location and room was decent, but customer service left a lot to be desired

Friendly helpful staff. Very comfortable beds! No complaints

The front desk staff was top notch. They were able to adjust to my scheduling snafu's when requesting shuttles. Breakfast staff not very responsive. The room was nice but the bed made it feel small. Have trouble walking around it.

I was staying overnight during a business trip and was meeting an old friend who lived / worked nearby. This cute and quaint hotel was perfect to meet for a drink and the room was perfect for everything else. Front desk was great at check in to let me know to call direct next time for the free breakfast and rate match.

Staff went above and beyond. Highly recommend this hotel. Very helpful and accommodating.

It was the best. We wish we could have stayed longer, but we were just there for a wedding in Fairfield and we had a 2 and half hour ride home so we decided to stay over night. It was a winner. Extremely clean and we loved everything. There was nothing missing. We would go back again.

We had an enjoyable stay. The restaurant was elegant, though we arrived too late to want to dine. The bartender was very friendly. The television was modern, and their cable included channels in Spanish, so we were pleased.

Room was very nice albeit small with the King size bed stuffed in it. Asked for tea for the room but the house staff did not speak English and insisted they only had coffee.Towels were great, bed was excellent, and they allowed me to check in early which was very nice.
