Great location- quiet but close to everything

Cute, quiet neighborhood. Easy walk to main attractions. House is charming and roomy. Enjoyed the back yard and front porch. Well stocked kitchen essentials.

Oneida House

The Oneida House in St. Augustine was incredible. Very well kept, great kitchen, the rooms are large, beds comfortable, bathrooms very modern. Excellent WiFi. Very quite neighborhood, close to downtown-walking distance. Had all of the amenities needed for a long weekend stay.

Very clean and short drive to beach and amphitheater. Love the set up of the house, the front porch, and back yard sitting area. The history of the house was a very nice touch. Would definitely stay again.

The house was perfect for 2 couples and was close to downtown. We really enjoyed sitting on the front porch. We found this property to be perfect for our short getaway.

Nice place. Some things to know.

Overall the place was great. There were a few things that I did not prefer but don’t take away from the quality as you may prefer them. Just some things to know. If you plan on being inside with more than a couple people, there is limited seating. We didn’t plan it but it rained a lot. Half of us spent a lot of time at the kitchen table. The beds are extremely soft. Clean just not firm at all. Again. Not my preference but it may be yours. TMI? The toilets are small and there not a lot of room in the front bath. The neighborhood is good. It has a lot of rundown houses but appears people are into fixing them up. The neighbors were friendly and spoke to us while outside. It’s a short walk or bike ride to the historic district. They don’t expect you to do a bunch of chores. Just empty the trash and start the dishwasher. We did try to clean the floors but it was raining and difficult. That’s about it. Still a 5 star stay just a few personal preference things that may influence your choice. Ps. There’s a fan in the bedroom closet.

Most relaxing stay

We visit St. Augustine several times a year and stay at. rentals and this is by far the best we’ve stayed at. The hosts provided tons of information and we never needed to contact them since everything had been thought of. House is all completely refurbished with new everything. Bed is super comfy and we slept great. Spent a lot of time simply relaxing on the front porch under the fans which was comfortable even when it was super hot in the sun. We never just sit on the porch and read but we did here. There are old houses by this one but they are being redone along with several other spots in the neighborhood and it’s very quiet and safe. Cannot wait to return next month for my husbands birthday!

Oneida House

St agustine is a small city. Beautiful with a lot of history on every corner. The neighborhood on the south of Historic center was peaceful. The weather was perfect. You can see how old those houses are, as some of them get renovated, but others still showing the years of abandoned property. The one I stayed 159 Oneida Street is a very charming cottage. The company that renovated it did a nice job. Also the information provided for guess about the history of the house is nice. The time line of the lot until the house was built and the different owners to present. We have a wonderful time. Thanks

Absolutely Fantastic!

This is a beautifully renovated home perfect for enjoying Saint Augustine. It comes with all the amenities you'll ever need and it's a very comfortable home. Quiet at night and conveniently located in relation to attractions and restaurants. You won't find a better place to stay.

Okay Stay Overall

Great communication with the property mgmt team - they checked on us daily. The house was very clean, king bed superb, the queen bed in 2nd bedroom incredibly hard/uncomfortable. Ample closet space & appreciated the well appointed shower products. The LR furniture was sparse - sofa was great, but a cool looking side chair not practical. Would be much more accomodating to have 2 comfy side chairs in the grouping to have some space for more than 2 people to relax. Kitchen very well stocked & bathroom towels are soft. The neighborhood was quiet, definately eclectic - I personally love Lincolnville - however this house is adjacent to several dilapidated homes. Several looked uninhabitable, definatley not depicted in the VRBO pictures. The backyard backs up to unkept properties, not a desirable location to sit outside & enjoy the firepit. Thank you to the property team, you're on point. Have stayed in St Augustine in a variety of properties, unfortunately would not return to this home.

I can’t say enough good things about our stay. The house was beautiful, comfortable and immaculate. The kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed the large porch. It was perfect for an early evening drink. We had a medical emergency while in St. Augustine. Our hosts responded quickly and positively when I asked about another night if needed.

Charming House with Rocking Chair Porch

The house appeared to be completely renovated and was clean which is important. Lots of windows and all was well laid out. Loved the rocking chair porch and spent many hours reading there.

Beautifully updated cottage in Lincolnville

Completely updated one story cottage in Lincolnville within walking distance to Historic St Augustine (@20 minutes). Cottage is lovely. Fully stocked kitchen with all the needed utensils, dishes, pans and Keurig! Washer and Dryer, comfy beds and 2 bathrooms( walk in shower and tub shower combo). Table for 6 with extra kitchen stools. Living area with sofa and chair. Pictures depic property accurately. Excellent communication with hosts. Easy check in and check out. Check out Lincolnville as it is a neighborhood on process of being updated. Some surrounding homes in need of repair/updates. Safe area and very walkable. Many local restaurants nearby. Flagler nearby as well. Enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Amazing Property

It was our first time in St. Augustine and staying at Oneida Charmed made the trip super special! It is the nicest VRBO that we have ever stayed in. The cottage was beautifully decorated, super clean, and the beds were very comfortable. We had more fun staying staying at the cottage. The backyard firepit was an added bonus. We loved the charm of the neighborhood and felt very safe. The location was great with off street parking as well. The new restaurant nearby was very tasty! Andrea and Danny were very responsive and wanted to make sure that we were having a fabulous time. We will for sure keep Oneida Charmed as our go to place to stay in St. Augustine!
