The River Condos~in Squaw Lake, MN. Located on the Popple River which joins 2 lakes: Nature Lake & Round Lake. "The Lodge"~ In this very grand and spacious cabin, there is an abounding 3500 square feet! In this cabin, you are sure to be pleased by this modern, convenient cabin with all the amenities of home but with all the rustic feels of Northwoods charm. This cabin has 6 bedrooms & 2 full baths, and it sleep up to 24 people. The grand stone design of the (gas) Fireplace in the living room will make you snuggle up and stay warm on a cold winters night! During the summer you can stroll on out the patio door to the Hot Tubs and fire pit out back! Grab a stick & the marshmallows and get ready to take in the sights, smells and sounds of God's Country! Or take a gander on down to the river (only a few feet away :-)), to where the dock is waiting for you to launch your boat to explore the waters! Right here in Squaw Lake, there is a Bar/ Restaurant with amazing food, all within walking distance of your Condo. The River Condos are also located right on the ATV and snowmoblie trail. There are 2 other units at The River Condos. Both of the other units have 2 bedrooms each and 1 bathroom. They are "The Cabin" and "The Den". The River Condos are open year round for you to enjoy all 4 seasons that Minnesota has to offer! Come to fish, hunt, snowmobile, or just relax at the river's banks, no matter why you come, you will be sure to unplug, unwind and recharge! Up North just doesn't get much better than this! We are pet friendly, with a small convenience fee. People also love staying here because of the close proximity to Winnie, Upper Red, Blackduck, Grand Rapids and countless other lakes within an hour's drive! So many options, so little time! If you are looking for privacy, seclusion, and relaxation for your vacation this is NOT the place to stay. We booked the lodge for an event because it was advertised as a 6 bedroom cabin and explicitly allowed events at the property. To our disappointment we found out upon arrival that the property was housed within the same building as two other rental properties with a shared backyard, a single communal fire pit area, and the hot tub/ patios were separated by a single panel of privacy fence that offered no actual seclusion if you walked more than 5 feet into the shared yard. Worst of all, the host charged us hundreds of extra dollars after our checkout, not due to any damages, but because a different guest reported too much “partying” and “loud music”. Again, we booked with the intention of having an event here and were never once informed that our volume was an issue by other guests or the host until AFTER we checked out, which we would have happily adjusted during our stay. Overall the listing poorly represents the realty of this property and the communication is severely lacking. I would not recommend this property to anyone looking for a worry free, private get away.

Overall, this place is great. The property manager is very helpful and answers questions very quickly. Property itself is very clean, and the rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The kayaks that were available for use are also great. What really would have pushed this place over the edge of being being excellent would be having a second fire pit available for use, and maybe a book with ideas of local attractions. All that being said, I would definitely recommend this place.

The condos are always a great space for all our family members to get together comfortably and have a nice relaxing time! Love how clean the place is, and the host was a huge help with any of my questions! I look forward to going back next year!
