Disliked: Cleanliness
This condo is in an unbeatable location and we appreciate it being pet friendly and having competitive rates. Unfortunately, it was very dirty and a little run down which soured our experience. When we arrived, the condo was only about 58 degrees inside. The room heaters had been left off and the thermostat for the large heater at the center of the condo was out of batteries. Luckily, I was able to switch out the batteries from the tv remote to get the heat back on. A bigger issue was that the bedding in the larger bedroom was dirty. The bedspread and pillows were covered in pet hair from previous guests and my wife actually felt pretty allergic trying so sleep in the dirty bedding. We had to swap it out with some clean bedding that had been left behind for the pull out sofa. The sofa was old and had throw blankets on it that felt dirty to the touch. The living room rug also felt really icky. The biggest issue was the bedding though, by far. I can look past cleaniness issues in other categories and I can sympathize that it must be hard to keep some items like the sofa and rug clean while allowing pets. But, truly we did at least expect the bedding to be changed between guests. Otherwise, it is a nicely sized and beautifully located place to stay. I would advise anyone with mobility issues to avoid because the entry stairs are a little tricky to navigate.
