This was one of the best places we could have stayed at. We just got a puppy and this was the place to go. Plenty of room for the pup to play and do her business! The place is in a long term camp ground with limited sights (18). Everyone is respectful, friendly and quiet. Adult mix young and old and even some adolescents. If you're more into the party, louder type group, this isn't for you!
I will say when we first arrived, the look on ly wife's face was priceless! Her expression was...what did you get us into! After we parked and entered, she was as happy as a kid in a candy store!
She's never seen a place like this and... she absolutely loves it!
She even said she wished we could stay a few days longer. - returning is definitely on the bucket list!
Basically, it's like a campsite host house converted into a guest house!
Perfect for a couple, solo or small family. Almost in the middle of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg...
2 issues we had... laundry and the road. Laundry was used by the same people each day we stayed (1st come basis) but it would have been nice to do a load before we left. And "Old Birds Creek Rd"... wow! Switch backs and hills you can't see over...quite the scary ride in the dark! ☆ suggest 454 (highway/road) if possible. But these are by no means any reason to pass this place up.
To the house... there is a nice bedroom with attached bathroom with shower, "family room" with pullout sleeper bed and sink also with own shower/toilet. And a full kitchen. ☆ suggest stopping at market and at least pick a few items that you would like for breakfast - eat before you leave in morning for regular shopping... especially nice if you have a pet. Although many places allow a dog inside (well behaved are welcome)..some places don't allow pets.
Over-all great place to stay and see the great smokey mountains and relax "in nature" rather than the typical motel/hotel.
Thanks much for allowing us to stay. Hopefully we can return!
