Don’t rent this property

We have a few concerns on the cabin we are renting. There are no instructions in the cabin for the Wi-Fi unless we as in seven people have completely overlooked them. Two of the arcade machines don’t work. The water stands in the showers and doesn’t drain fast enough. The cabin has not been cleaned as there are cob webs and food on the table and pet food on/under the couch cushions. There is blood on the door leading to the garage. There is dog poop let all over the property outside. Animal poop in the house. The hot tub is unusable as the water smells moldy and there’s no chlorine in the hot tub. The sink in the kitchen has a smell as well. The extra blankets smell like moldy mildew. The driveway is ruddied out after the storm two weeks ago. We have picture's to send if needed about all the items mentioned.

House was filthy nothing worked

Number I was giving was the old owner. Nothing Vrbo said was true about this house, House was disgusting hot tub. Water was slimy no chlorine, low water full of sand and dirt outdoor hose. Spicket were taped up. Outdoor grill rotted out igniter did not work toilets would not flush house was filthy when we got there full of dog hair. Drive way was completely washed out and the dishes in the cupboard were absolutely disgusting

The house was beautiful and there was plenty of room for us to be together and enjoy each others company. The driveway was an issue for some, but we managed. The kitchen was big enough to cook for a big family.

Family get together

The house is beautiful and offers amazing views! There were a few downsides however - all towels we had left for us were stained; the hot tub was not clean, the house was not that clean altogether. We were not able to use the grill as it was dirty and had water sitting in it. House managers were quick to respond to all our concerns, however I was expecting to enjoy my stay not constantly nag and complain about all things that are wrong. The deck offers magnificent views or sunrise and there is plenty of space for everyone to be together or apart. finally - house desperately needs more blankets as all beds only have a sheet and a decorative thin cover on them.

Such a nice big house

We truly enjoyed our stay and only wish the rainy weather was not w us. That said, we enjoyed the house, the arcade games, pool table and the porches. Our bed was comfortable and kitchen was nice for cooking our meals. We did get an early fire in the fire pit before the rain started at noon. We will definitely keep this on our stay list if we meet up in Sevierville again. We even talked about bringing some family w us next time. It was just 4 adults meeting up half way in between.

Sevierville Wedding

Our rental was perfect for our family! It was spacious enough for 11 of us. The location was within 10 minutes of restaurants, food, bars, etc. When we arrived the internet information that was provided was not correct and I was able to correspond with the owners within 20 minutes of our arrival and it was corrected. Beware of the ruts from the water feed-off on the driveway and the hot tub could use some addition cleaning. But, all in all We will definitely stay here again!

Mountain family vacation

Family vacation with 3 adults, 3 kids and 2 dogs. Great house with lots of room for everyone to stretch out. Really enjoyed our stay and kids have asked to return to this house again!

Spring break getaway

Great experience

The house was roomy with more than enough space for 3 families and a dog. We had few problems that were out of anyone's control. But Jessica and her husband were quick to respond and fix any issues. Overall, I think it is a great place in a nice location. We'd definitely rent this house again.

Davidson Review

The cabin was nice, but check in was at 3:00 pm and the cabin was still being cleaned at 3;30 pm. I spoke to the cleaning lady, who was doing the best she could and she said the last renters had a large dog that required her to spend a lot of extra cleaning time. The cabin wasn't cleaned very well, but probably because she didn't have enough time to clean. I would suggest that renters with animals have to check out earlier or pay more so the cleaning person can hire more employees. I wouldn't recommend the cabin to anyone else due to this issue. We had to clean a lot of it ourselves and should be reimbursed something for that.

Mountain view heavenly home

Huge house, garage, pet friendly, game room, outside porches, hot tub and fire pit all a plus!! Beautiful view a bonus. On July 4th fireworks were all around us. Steep gravel driveway was tricky on way up.

Review

Overall it was a good space for a family gathering. There were activities for us to fill our time on site - pool table, fire pit, game room, and hot tub. Plenty of seating together for our group of 7 to gather at the same time. The driveway is a little confusing to find and has a steep grade to climb. Great porches for relaxing and visiting. A comfortable site if you don't want to venture out and easy access to the parkway.

Spacious and private

The home sits atop a hill on a large piece of property surrounded by trees. The home is secluded, but it is only minutes from the town of Sevierville, Pigeon Forge or Douglas lake. The house is very spacious with a large kitchen, dinning room, game room and living room. There is one open deck and two covered decks. The 2nd floor covered deck is great for looking at the stars, sunrise and sunset. There is a large seating area around a fire pit, which is also great to look at the night sky. A large jacuzzi sits in the corner of the house tucked into the hillside, a nice way to end the day. All of the beds were very comfortable, and no one had any problems going to sleep. The host of the home were very nice and even though we only had a question they do respond quickly to text. Highly recomend this property.

Beautiful home

Gorgeous house. Pictures dont do it justice. High end appliances and reverse osmosis for water. We brought a berkey along for water purification and ended up not needing it. Pleasant surprise! Unsure about communication with the property manager because we didnt need anything. Neighborhood was unlike anywhere we have stayed before. Definitely more of a local vibe. Overall, enjoyed the experience. Plenty of room for the kids and adults to spread out. Mop in the garage to clean up the doggy water bowl drips and extra food crumbs. Well equipped with tp, trash bags, hand soap for the bathrooms and dish soap.

VERY disappointed

I would have given this property 5 stars had the communication been better with the host and I didn’t have unresolved issues. Where do I begin?! When we arrived the trash bins outside overflowing and three very large additional bags of trash were left (for only God knows how long) in the garage, the smell was seeping through the home. The jacuzzi was incredibly disgusting and only half full. Water hoses were laying around sloppy ever where. The washer initially wasn’t powering on but when maintenance came to grab the trash and properly instructed me on how to operate the washer brand that I was unfamiliar with. That was the only issue that was resolved. There were others! No extra trash bags for any of the cans... most rental property’s provide at least one extra bag per can, NO BROOM! I bought a cheap broom and left it at the property. There was a loose knob on one of the doors but it seemed secure we were worried about it the entire trip! Someone did randomly stop by on Friday morning to tell us they couldn’t give us a broom: The nail in the coffin was regarding the hot water. We ran out of hot water around 2pm on 4/9. We just assumed maybe it was due to 12 ppl trying to get dressed. We left for the day and when we returned there was still no HOT WATER in the middle of a pandemic, 12 ppl unable to shower, wash their hands with warm water or properly clean, sanitize and etc. I called multiple times between Friday evening leading up until 38 mins after check out on 4/10. The host only answered my call 1 time our entire stay (on Thursday). I felt abandoned and like I got cheated out of my money... over $2100 to be exact. Beautiful property and location with great views but the host is absolutely terrible! You pay for a cleaning fee and the property may not even be clean when you arrive! You may not have hot water to wash up with! You may arrive and the property is just not ready for your stay. Be prepared to be on your own with this rental.
