Come and enjoy the beautiful mountain views in this 3 bedroom 3 bath cabin. Enjoy 2 large rear porches with plenty of seating to relax and take in the mountains. Lower Porch has a hot tub to soothe worries away. Located in the center of all the local action, yet secluded enough to enjoy natures beauty. Only 7 miles to the main strip in Gatlinburg and 6 miles to Pigeon Forge. If you rather stay-in, enjoy a large game room equipped with a pool table, poker / card table, 2 person game machine with over 400 classic games, tv, and bar with beverage fridge. Main level kitchen stocked with pots and pans, utensils, baking wear, dishes, 2 coffee makers (regular and Keurig), stove, refrigerator, and microwave. If grilling is more your style there is a large charcoal grill located at the front of the property. Grilling Utensils provided. Bring your own charcoal.

The location of property and the views from the property was a bonus. We had six adults and the main level was not comfortable for all of us. There is a couch that seats 3 (3 people uncomfortably) a loveseat (2 people). Other seating was at the kitchen table. The design of this room is undesirable, and not family friendly. This room could easily be transformed into a comfortable 6 (adult) person room with the right design and furniture. Also, the game room could have been transformed into a more comfortable gathering room with the proper design. To pay this amount and 1 person have to comfortable sitting at the kitchen wood table and chairs is not desirable at all. The main living area is not set up for 6 people at all. Too much emphasis on game room than the comfort. I would rent this again if there were 4 of us but definitely not 6 adults. I do not recommend this unit to be for a 6 person under the current design. Your pushing it x2

It was great! The location was perfect and the view was beautiful. Our only complaint was we didn’t realize the upstairs room was a loft and didn’t have a door- but that was probably our fault and we just missed that info on the description. But beds were comfy and plenty of room and we loved there was a Christmas tree!

Nice views

It was nice and clean with a great view. The pool was further away then I realized when I booked and a little hard to find but once we figured it out it was smoothing sailing after that. It was about equal time to Gatlinburg and pigeon Forge. Seen a bear walking right up the road while grilling dinner but he didn’t pay us any mind and kept going. This is a great spot for our family.

Christmas at the Cabin

This cabin was just as described and as appeared in the photos and our family loved our Christmas here! The road is a bit windy and steep but all paved and easily made it up without a 4wd vehicle. Definitely would stay again!

Bear Down Getaway is a great choice

This property is in a great location and is run very, very well. Host is a great communicator and everything was just as expected from the listing. Teenage/adult kids loved the property and all the amenities. One note is that the upstairs bedroom is actually a loft and doesnt have a room door. It us open to the kitchen/family room So make sure your night oel stays in that room.

Beautiful property and neighborhood

We had a wonderful time at this location! Very clean and had everything we needed for our vacation. We even saw two bears near the house and more while driving through the neighborhood. If traveling with toddlers, I would suggest bringing a few baby gates for the two sets of stairs in the house. We would definitely stay again at this property!

A wonderful find

We were a group of 9 that included three kids ranging in age from 11-17. A couple of us showed up shortly after check-in time to drop off luggage and the cabin was very clean upon our arrival. The rest showed up later that evening and all were impressed were the cabin. The cabin was exactly as advertised. We did bring an extra air mattress for the oldest teenager to sleep on as the two girls shared the sleeper sofa. I contacted Kristie upon my arrival for a few minor requests and she responded right away. She even texted one night to let us know that the power may be out at the cabin as we were at Dollywood for the day and storms were around. Thankfully, there was an internet outage for awhile but was back within the hour. The cabin was nicely stocked with towels, dishwasher soap, some paper towels, kuerig and a regular coffee pot. Bring your own coffee though. :) We enjoyed the hot tub and playing the arcade games as well as playing pool. The view off the back decks is beautiful - I would never tire of that view. Would definitely book this cabin again.
