It was a gorgeous and spacious abode with many attractive and useful amenities from the many beds, to the fireplace, to the gym. Amongst many other things. Would love to stay here again.

April the housekeeper was very helpful. Property was clean easily accessible to nearby stores, airport, etc. Owner was easy to get ahold of as needed.

Great for a family gathering

We had a family reunion and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The beds we’re comfortable, pool was a highlight for the kids and the open kitchen and family room provided great space for gathering.

Perfect for Family Gatherings

We did a guys golf trip hitting courses around both Baltimore and Washington DC. We didn’t spend much time at the property but plenty of rooms and beds and perfect to get a few families together and meet up for a vacation

An amazing house and wonderful hosts

Everything was to perfection. The property is as pretty as it looks and the hosts made sure every amenity was taken care of. We were very impressed and very grateful. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

Perfect place for a celebration vacation

For the USNA Ring Dance a group of family & friends wanted a house large enough to accommodate everyone but still close to the Academy. The size was perfect. Loved having a pool and outdoor space. This is the perfect place!

Perfect for a family gathering

This house fit our needs and wants perfectly for a family get together. Close to the airport for out of state guests and plenty of parking. We stayed in the winter and did not take advantage of the yard or pool which look like they’d be plenty of fun in the warmer months! Features a super kitchen and eating area.

Lots of space

We used this property for a two-day off-site work retreat and it afforded plenty of space for team building and many breakout strategic conversations. Appreciated the open layout and the significant amount of storage as well.

Bachelorette weekend

We stayed at this property for a low key bachelorette weekend and the property was fantastic. Owner is communicative and quick to respond. The pool area is clean and has plenty of space for mid size groups. Lots of room within the home to hangout and have group meals.

Alumni Reunion

The property was perfect for our Alumni Reunion weekend for our class teammates and their spouses. The spaciousness of the property really allowed for us to enjoy each other’s company. The property manager was extremely accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this location to anyone staying in the area, and would absolutely stay here again if given the opportunity!

Excellent property

We were in town for my loved ones funeral. It made our stay much easier to get through. My only negative is the only 2 bathrooms upstairs and 1/2 bath on main level. It’s a beautiful property from a lovely family. I really appreciated they provided enough paper goods for our stay as well.

Home Away From Home

We were so thankful to have found this home away from home to house the family that would travel from near and far for our daughter's wedding. It was a comfortable and cozy place which allowed our family members to relax and visit with family we had not seen in a while. The pellet stove inside and fire pit outside were a welcome perk. The property manager even loaned us a pack and play...another item we didn't have to take on the plane.

Wonderful Woodsy Retreat Weekend

The home was absolutely perfect for our group's special occasion. We had appropriate 40 guests, with 9 staying overnight. The home came equipped with so many useful amenities, more than enough rooms and beds for a large group, and very clean and organized. The other ladies and I had a blast hosting our retreat in Douglass' amazing wooded home! Mr. Church was a wonderful host, very responsive and super kind. I would definitely recommend this beautiful home to others.

A hidden gem

The pictures do not do this house the justic it deserves. It was so beautiful clean and bigger then what i expected. Plenty of room outside and inside We were there to do a small celebrationof life for my husband and had all our immediate family there . Even the cleaning lady was amazing.We will definitely be renting this house agin next year.

Family vacation

Our family vacation was wonderful. We were all able to relax in the pool. We barbecued ate s’mores and just relaxed if we are ever in that area again we would book this home. there was enough room for all of us. we had a nine month old, with four other grandchildren, 10 adults. Easter Weekend

Overall we had a great weekend. There are a few cosmetic updates that could make the property more appealing, but overall it was great. The kitchen was very well stocked with all of the supplies that we needed for the weekend. The outside of the house and the yard space were beautiful. It’s very spacious and was great for our family. An unexpected pleasantry was the housekeeper with whom we interacted in order to get an early check-in. She was exceptionally pleasant and very kind when we met her in person. Overall, it was a great experience.
