Desk attendant took 20minutes to come out and service us. First room smelt like dirty mop water and 2nd room the fridge was dirty and smelly. Being that the pillows were tiny and flat there was not enough pullows for the bed to compensate.

a disappointing stay, false advertising of free breakfast. there was no breakfast whatsoever. rooms aren’t clean and they don’t try to clean. the room and halls smelled like gas all night which left us scared

Highly recommend. Not far from anywhere at all. I read reviews prior to booking, I came across the “smelly” rooms but my room didn’t smell, it was very clean, I like that there were mattress covers. They tell you at check in what the rooms have and don’t have, it is a pet friendly hotel so if there was any sort of smell, it’s just the basic animal stench. Customer service was great ! 10/10.

You guys need staff. Or treat your staff right so they don’t have a bad day and treat others with unnecessary attitudes. No staff when I arrived to check in until I believe the manager, came in to help. Another nice guy was a white guy, tall-thin, forgot his name. One lady with tattoos and another coworker were just chatting it up and cursing talking about being tired of their job. I even got an unclean/wrong room. Older lady that cleans was also very sweet. Please treat people kind, this first time experience became my last.

This hotel was a complete let down - especially for the price. The staff was distracted. The rooms were minimal but ok. Paint was peeling. Stains on ceiling. And a weird smell I couldn’t get to go away even with open windows. Very disappointed and embarrassed that I chose this location for a night in Santa Barbara. Do yourself a favor and choose another hotel.

The room and the bathroom stank. It was one kind of smell in the room and another in the bathroom, almost like tobacco. The refrigerator had stains on the side. The hotel doesn’t even put a coffee maker in the rooms, and the breakfast is minimal…oatmeal packets and muffins and sweet bars. They are optimizing on costs so they don’t change towels or set the beds for 10 days. The rooms didn’t even have a do not disturb sign to hang outside.

This is the lowest of low budget. Room had zero appeal, wire frame bed in the middle of a bare room. Kitchenette had old, broken cabinets and a rusty fridge that made noise all night. Bedsheets seemed clean enough but very uncomfortable. The kind of place you sleep with one eye open all night. Strongly do not recommend.
