My primary complaint is that I booked this resort under the impression that it was an Adult Only resort. While it USED to be an adult only, it was purchased by the current owner and not all ADULT ONLY advertising has been updated to to show that it is now, very much so, a family resort. The resort was kept clean and comfortable. The alcohol was limited and very weak. I drank way more than normal because it was so weak. My wife and I prefer quality over quantity. Along with expecting an adult only resort was a more lively night life. Everything here begins shutting down at 8pm. The outside facilities are closed early.

There was no airport transfer as advertised. The food was horrible. Service was slow and unhappy. And entertainment was sparse and dull. Spa was also terrible. I wouldn't recommend this place at all, unfortunately.

The room was spacious and clean. I appreciated the staff in the dining room. The only issue was there was some confusion on scheduling the main dinner. Other than that this was an excellent resort.

I really enjoyed my stay at Decameron the location is excellent. The Hotel is a older resort that is showing some age, but the staff is what makes this Hotel so great! They were all so friendly, helpful and worked so hard at keeping the property safe and clean. The drinks were excellent with very experienced bar tenders that can make you anything you desire. My room was cleaned everday with 5 star service, thank you house cleaning staff!

I would definitely recommend Decameron to anyone. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our experience truly enjoyable. great, friendly and accommodating to needs. Food was great and the bar tenders were amazing. Big shout out to Juan for being the best bar tender. I will definitely be going back.

While not a 5 star resort per se it was a 5 star experience for us. We prefer smaller places and usually don't go all inclusive as we enjoy eating local but the price point made it the best of both worlds. Food was good with many options and variety. The resort is older but well maintained and clean. The staff friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the entertainment, a young lady who sang (different sets) 2 nights was charming and very good. While no swimming on this beach it was great for walking (estuary at one end) and enjoying the waves, birds and sunrises. The 3 pools were plenty for swimming. We really enjoyed San Jose Del Cabo and Decameron was well located for all of our adventures.
